I guess the only chance we have is Saban taking his recruitment personally. Still, Pruitt has had that relationship the longest and with the ties to Propst, it's going to be difficult. Pruitt is too good a recruiter in his own right to not pick up a few wins on the recruiting trail this year.

Not only is it Pruitt, his position coach is a huge Vol, plus John Propst, Rush's nephew, is pushing him hard to UT. He is also coaching under Rush, and he played LB at UT

JJ Peterson was a lock for this class for awhile, so if hes gone and Brandon Kaho is gone, who gets that spot?

The Army All-American said Alabama can regain the lead for him in these final few weeks, but he needs to continue building a relationship with Saban for that to happen.

The early signing period starts Wednesday with many of us not really knowing what to expect. However, that never stopped me from making predictions, so here are my takes on the uncommitted five-stars expected to sign that day or during the three-day signing period.

4-star TE Dominick Wood-Anderson will sign with Alabama or Tennessee on Wednesday.

Wouldn't be surprised to see UT, I think think they are also taking about 3 of his juco teammates also.

Eyabi Anoma

The players: Alabama, Michigan, Maryland

The prediction: Alabama. The Tide seem to be his dream school, and I don’t see him picking anyone else here.

Confidence level: 95%

No CBs for Wood-Anderson to UT yet. The CBs are still 92% to Bama. They visited Notsvi11e this past weekend. So, maybe someone will interview DWA and report something today or tomorrow.

Over the last three weeks, Rivals 100 defensive end Brenton Cox has visited Alabama, decommitted from Ohio State and visited Georgia on back-to-back weekends.

Now, in two days, he will announce his college choice and sign with that school.

What a month of December it has been for Cox, the No. 34-ranked prospect in the country. He felt the love from Alabama and Georgia coaches on three different weekends, but in between, he looked Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson in the eye and told him he was not moving to Columbus. Not many 17 and 18 year old kids do that, so Cox earned a lot of respect for that move.

Now, he has to decide if he wants to be in Tuscaloosa or Athens the next few years. Some may feel a decision has already been made in his mind, but when Cox went on record about it publicly, he said there hasn't.

"Man, I do not know what I want to do," Cox said. "Alabama and Georgia are the same in a lot of ways. Their defense is the same, I get along with players on both teams, both teams have shown they can win and it will be hard to say no to either team.

"I have been to both schools and both schools give me a good vibe. I see both schools as the exact same right now. It is complicated decision."

Over the last few weeks, Cox has had many in his ear about what he should do, what school he should choose and who he needs to sign with Wednesday.

Being from Stockbridge (Ga.), you'd think hear most about the Bulldogs, but the Crimson Tide is talked about just as much.

"I am hearing I should go to 'Bama, then I am hearing that I should stay home and rep the home-state school, and it is just back and forth all of the time. I am constantly just talking to myself about this decision because it is so confusing.

"It is on my mind all of the time and this will be one of my hardest decisions I have ever had to make. It is hard not to think about it right now."

Nick Saban was in the Cox home Thursday. Kirby Smart was there Wednesday. Both schools will work the phones leading up to Wednesday making sure Cox knows how important he is to their team and to this recruiting class.

Cox plans to sign at 2:30pm ET Wednesday and he could be figuring out which is the right school for him up until that time.

"I am really not sure when I will know for sure," said Cox. "It is really all I am thinking about right now. I will be ready Wednesday though to make a decision and get this done."

DWA is a strange take for me. Seems like we are pretty set at TE and all them are young except for Hentges. Maybe he's that big of a difference maker?

Allegedly he is very high coveted by Bama, even to the point he could be 1 and done.

His highlights are pretty spectacular, his catch radius is huge and he knows it.

Which highlights? I watched his Hudl video from his freshman year and it wasn't overly impressive to me (granted I didn't watch to the end). I'm all for it if it means we are going to utilize those guys (particularly Smith and Forristall) moving forward.

Not that Bama uses TEs anyway.
