Andres Fox of Mobile Christian (Ala.) is one of Auburn's top defensive targets. He's 6-feet-4, 240 pounds and could play end or tackle (depending on how he grows) in college. In last week's 34-10 win over Cottage Hill Christian (Ala.), Fox had 10 tackles, 3 sacks and 9 quarterback pressures -- stats that are impressive no matter the competition. Fox, the No. 11 recruit in the state of Alabama for the industry generated 247Sports Composite, has attended one Auburn game this season and could return once or twice in November, he said. Right now, the Tigers are locked in a tight recruiting battle with Alabama, LSU and Stanford. The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently favors Auburn. Here are some highlights of Fox in action this season.

Jarrett Bell after his OV to Arizona this past weekend:

quote:

“I am making sure I weigh my options and the decision I make is the right decision for me,” he said. “I can only make this decision once, so I just want to make sure I take all my visits and see if any other school might tie me in.

“Right now, I am 100 percent with Alabama. Once I take my official there in December is when I will make my final decision and most likely I will know for sure then.”

Jarret Bell must be underrated, I wonder if we drop him for a better OT.

JJ27, definitely hit the Bryant Museum like Saint suggested. Go onto the Quad and take in some tailgating as well. I'm sure if you let it be known that you have some kin in the '18 class, they will welcome you right in.
Seeing that you are probably going to be limited as far as time goes, walk down The Strip and take in some music, adult beverage or two if that's your thing, or grab a bite to eat. There is a little pizza joint beside Moe's and Firehouse Subs that has some really good pizza and cheap too.
Enjoy!!

Is Jerrett Bell good enough for him to be "weighing his options" with us? Seems like unless we're encouraging him to take visits, he may lose his spot in this class to a higher ranked OL.

I think he may end up somewhere on the West Coast come NSD.

With Florida hitting the skids we might be able to pull Nicholas Petit-Frere even more now.

I'd do fricking backflips if our OL class consisted of Petit-Frere, Ekiyor, Sewell and Tommy Brown.

Is the belief that we take 22 this year predicated mostly on the 3 delayed football enrollees (I forget the color shirt each took) from last year or also based on the 85 number? Also, and related, if we took more than 22 this year, does that mean however many people we take above 22 will have to delay football enrollment in some way or another?

Bell talking about a "final decision" has me thinking maybe his offer is potentially one for delayed football enrollment.

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. — The state of Georgia is filled defensive talent for the 2018 class, but the next elite defender isn’t far behind. Jaylen McCollough is a 4-star safety currently ranked No. 35 nationally and No. 1 in the state of Georgia for the 2019 class according to 247Sports.

McCollough currently has 16 offers including Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia and Oregon.

McCollough had a productive night on defense, recording 10 total tackles, 1 pass deflection and played a key role in the victory on Friday as Hillgrove routed North Cobb 42-10. Next week will be a huge game for McCollough as the Hawks will face the McEachern Indians in the annual ‘Battle Down in Powder Town’ in a game that decides who wins the region 3AAAAAAA title.

Watch the highlight video to see why Power 5 schools are craving to have Jaylen McCollough on their roster.

It's just based on the 25 limit.

With the loaded Class of 2019 coming up I don't think we'd take a spot out of that class for anyone in this year's class.

He probably sees the writing on the wall.

Where do I have to go? Can’t miss spots?

Can't miss is the Bryant Museum. Go to Denny Chimes and see the team Captains hand and cleat prints and quad in general. The strip is pretty crazy during game day as well.
For food, Dreamland, Archibalds, Chuck's or Cypress Inn.

How much and where are they located?

I can't use them, but I have a buddy in Deatsville that may want them.
