Did you used to do a top 5 wish list for recruits in your signature? If so, why not now and who are your top 5 wants? If not, who the heck did that b/c I'm in my 30's and my memory shouldn't be this bad already?

Yeah.

I copied and pasted a LSU fan's response to a Clemson idiot I was in an argument with. It seemed appropriate at the time.

I've been thinking of changing it to a quote I heard from the 1987 movie Overboard the other day:
"I was whacking the donkey with painted ladies. They love me!!"
There were a few of us who did the wishlist thing. I know Cap was one of them. I can't remember who else.

who are your top 5 wants?
I'll go with 6:
1. Tyson Campbell
2. Nicholas Petit-Frere
3. Luke Ford
4. Eyabi Anoma
5. Coynis Miller
6. Penei Sewell
ETA: My wish list was always for uncommitted prospects. Same thing with my list above. Josh Jobe would be on there somewhere if he wasn't currently committed to Miami, probably above Anoma, Miller and Sewell.

As far as these guys go, care to venture a guess as the likelihood of landing each?
And beyond those what are some of the other positions you're sure we would go after? Are we likely to pass on taking a qb in this cycle?
eta: As always

1. Tyson Campbell - 51%
2. Nicholas Petit-Frere - 51%
3. Luke Ford - 70%
4. Eyabi Anoma - 80%
5. Coynis Miller - 40%
6. Penei Sewell - 90%

Well I left off JJ Peterson, Bobby Brown, Nadab Joseph, Vernon Jackson, Josh Jobe, Justyn Ross, Jaylen Waddle, Seth Williams, Justin Watkins, Emil Ekiyor, Caleb Tremblay, KJ Henry, Andres Fox, Micah Parson, Brandon Kaho, Harold Joiner and Saivion Smith.
I think the majority of our class will come from the 6 I posted initially and some combination of the group above. As to who I can't say.

I hope so. I say go after two next year.

As always you always seem to work your tail off keeping those of us who are less informed in the loop. It is greatly appreciated.

3. Vernon Jackson - Boling (Texas)
[6'3/235]
Jackson plays quarterback and linebacker for a small school in Texas and projecting to the next level he could end up as an inside backer or running back. He could be real scary around the red-zone and in short yardage situations if he sticks to offense.

7. Slade Bolden - West Monroe (La.)
[5'11/185]
Bolden spends time under center in high school, but will most likely be a slot receiver or running back in college. He has a knack for making huge plays. Bolden is committed to Alabama.

For anyone who's in the Birmingham area and has any interest, Bo Nix is on TV right now.
He's not coming to Bama, but I thought I'd mention it anyway since he's technically uncommitted.

Guess he will not be coming to Alabama either; if he is really that good.

Saban won't even recruit him lol. Let him finish 2/5 and then he'll consider offering him

Wouldn't put too much stock into that. Obviously a good night, but Gulf Shores High doesn't necessarily have the biggest football players lol

So what you are saying is we are all in for Harold Joiner and he's obviously underrated and would be a valuable member of Alabama's signing class of 2018?

Taulia Tagavailoa was 31-42, 329 yds, 2TD, 0 INT against Hapeville, GA (where William Poole III plays) tonight including the game winning 14 play, 80 yard drive at the end for Thompson HS. Observers have raved about him on the message boards.

Apparently Paul Bryant Tyson was 15 of 18 - 236 yards for 4 TD's in the first half tonight in their game. I've not been able to tell if he played in the second half or not.
