Andres Fox, 3-star JACK, Mobile, Ala. — Fox wasn’t sure if he could make the drive from Mobile to Tuscaloosa as of Thursday afternoon, but if he makes it, he needs to be on commitment watch. I know Fox has gone back and forth about making a commitment either before or during his senior season. But because he grew up a big Crimson Tide fan and he has said that it’s the school his parents want him to attend, the commitment watch is warranted. Auburn and LSU are also in good shape with Fox.

Cameron Latu, 4-star JACK, Salt Lake City — This will be Latu’s third trip to Tuscaloosa, which is a lot for a kid from Utah. What’s important to note about Latu’s recruitment is he told SEC Country earlier this month that Alabama is the school his mother wants him to attend. This is an Alabama-Southern California race, but a trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend could be enough to seal the deal for Latu.

Jaylen McCollough, 2019 5-star safety, Powder Springs, Ga. —McCollough will make his second trip to Tuscaloosa this week. He attended camp earlier this week. Alabama feels very confident with where it stands with the elite 2019 prospect.

Someone on BOL posted this:

Here is what I just heard on a couple of things. I should have more info when this weekend wraps up and if anything else breaks along the way I'll try and post if I can.

Aaron Robinson. This was a transfer that I was told was known to be coming. As crazy as this sounds, and it sounds crazy, this is a case of extreme homesickness. The guy simply missed being in Florida. Yes, some was playing time, but he would have had a much more significant role next year. The guy just really wanted to be back home.

On the commitment front, it sounds like we got a commitment from a certain Utah player last night. This is a player who has paid his own pay to Tuscaloosa multiple times in the past 60 days. I'm sure you can figure out who I'm talking about. Should make it public sometime this weekend.

Has to be Cameron Latu

Their fans were the mouth of the south for two years on here. Hilarious to see them run and hide to not take their shite.

I also heard from someone in the loop that Nadab Joseph should be considered to be on commitment watch over the next few weeks.

Didn't realize the link didn't work. The pic Aaron Robison posted was of him and the caption said something like "Tryna shake back south. (middle finger emojis) this University (face palm emoji).

In other words, he said "Frick you Bama"

He was a Pruitt project. Diamond in the rough. Was excited to see what he could do.

On the bright side, less depth at RB and DB can only help in this recruiting class.

Martin is probably a lock at RB now for this class.

Bama commit Pierce Quick just tweeted "Big day today #RTR" and 2019 Bama target Jaylen McCollough responded to his tweet with a thinking emoji like he's thinking about committing or something

I won't name who tweeted this bc I don't want him to be harassed with questions but a guy that usually is right just hinted that we got a commitment
