To change the subject for one second , did anyone notice the last play of the NCG how wide open Harris was out of the backfield ? He could have gotten a TON of yards had Tua taken the “ safe” throw. Thank good he didn’t !! lol . I just noticed that on one of the wide angle shots of the last play. Not sure he couldn’t have scored too

Harris was open for about 20 yards. Jeudy was also open on the post for the first down. It’s amazing how badly they defended that play at multiple levels

Has Tigerpaw come across with any info on Langham's visit to Auburn?

Is he usually accurate? I’ve heard the name but not sure how connected he is.
TideSaint can probably tell you better than I can. It seems to me like homerism (Newberg's or his sources) influences some of his picks (perhaps for clicks), but I think he and most of the guys are mainly aiming for accuracy, especially with their final pre-NSD picks. They want to keep their cred high. It appears to me that a lot of picks just follow suit, based on a "lead" pick by someone with a scoop. Especially when guys like Watts and Wiltfong make a pick.

Read in their board the visit went well... not sure if enough to take the lead but feel good about it from Neibur(sp)

I read Neibur's article. All of Langham's quoted remarks lead me to not worry. We should get some info pretty soon from our side.

Brock Purdy has eliminated Alabama from contention.

I guess the staff we give out a couple more “fliers “ before the dead period to fill the class. Pretty sure he felt not as important to the staff as white. May have had something to do with it?

Alabama QB target eliminates Tide from consideration | SEC Country
ETA: While Purdy visited ATM this weekend, Bama hosted preferred walk-on candidate Braxton Barker, son of former Tide QB Jay Barker.

It’s looking like Alabama will end up not signing a quarterback on scholarship in the 2018 recruiting class.
Just days after 4-star quarterback Brevin White decided to stick with his commitment to Princeton, Brock Purdy, a 3-star quarterback from Perry High School (Gilbert, Ariz.), told SEC Country that he has eliminated the Tide from consideration.
“I’m moving on from them,” Purdy said.
The Alabama coaching staff didn’t let Purdy know if he had a committable offer or not, which is the reason why he has decided to stop considering the school. Purdy also said he is down to Iowa State and Texas A&M.
Purdy will make his decision on National Signing Day this Wednesday.
With Purdy off the board, the only remaining quarterback target is 4-star prospect James Foster from Sidney Lanier High School (Montgomery, Ala.), who is down to Alabama, Florida State, LSU and Texas A&M. I do not expect the Tide to strongly pursue Foster.
