5. Coynis Miller
He's probably the #1 DT on Auburn's board. He has always like Alabama and "That program doesn't want to lose a second prospect in as many years from Jackson-Olin."

t10. Harold Joiner
His recruitment is fairly wide open after LSU and Alabama offered. He doesn't like Auburn's chances as much as he did a month ago.

t10. Andres Fox
He grew up an Alabama fan and his family is all Alabama. He is close with the Auburn staff but that may not be enough.

From Hank South:

His trainer tells me he's just now getting discovered even though he already has a handful of offers. Has a 3.4 GPA, got a 26 on the practice ACT.
Super athletic guy. Will be interesting to see how visit goes after.
His profile lists him as a Safety, but he is 6'5" 222 pounds.
ETA: Could this be our white in-state LBer for 2018?

Andres Fox is a must get, he will be the best player the state will produce this year. Better then Ross or Williams.

Any ideas on how you pronounce his last name?
Gotta be either "shoe" or "shuff"

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — After a pitstop through Birmingham, we finished our night in Huntsville.
The first day included three visits to see 5-star wide receiver Justyn Ross, 3-star wide receiver Shedrick Jackson and 4-star running back Harold Joiner. We managed to get a lot of information from those three prospects Monday — Tuesday will be even bigger.
Alabama recruiting reporter Chris Kirschner and I plan to visit three schools in north Alabama — Madison County, Lee and Austin — before swinging back through Birmingham to see another set of prospects in the Birmingham area.
Here are the prospects we will talk with Tuesday:
3-star RB Tae Provens
3-star OLB Matthew Flint
3-star DE Malik Langham
4-star RB Asa Martin
4-star 2019 QB Bo Nix
3-star DT Jalen Cunningham
4-star 2019 OT Pierce Quick
2019 QB Paul Tyson (great-grandson of Bear Bryant)
If time allows, we’ll try to catch another prospect on the way from northeast Birmingham to Montgomery — the next stop on our trip.
If we haven’t seen a Birmingham prospect you’re interested in, don’t be alarmed: We will be back in Birmingham for one more day at the end of the journey before finishing up in Auburn where we started. There are several more Birmingham-area targets who Kirschner and I will make sure to speak with before we finish our recruiting roundtrip.
Make sure to check back at the end of the day for quick updates from all of our visits. And, as always, head to SEC Country Alabama and SEC Country Auburn to read recruiting notebooks written by Kirschner and me.

It's early.
From what I can gather our staff is being very picky when it comes to accepting commitments right now.
I think we'll probably land 2-3 kids this weekend at A-Day, but I can't tell you who or what class because I honestly don't know.
We need corners and defensive linemen.
Landing a QB is proving to be difficult after landing the two we got last year.

BOL put out an update on Harold Joiner:
- His primary recruiter is Brent Key.
- Alabama offered him as an Athlete.
- Auburn also offered him as an Athlete.
- The in-state schools are the only programs who haven't offered him a RB spot.
- He wants to play RB in college.
- He says the Alabama RB depth is a factor in his decision.
- He says he could make an announcement in June.

Hank South CB'd Harold Joiner to LSU after talking to him yesterday.
He had him in our class last week as an Athlete when he put out his mock class FWIW.

BOL must have gotten the message that they have been slacking on the recruiting front lately. They put out two updates on in-state guys in the last 24 hours!!
The second is from Myles Mason:
- He grew up an Alabama fan.
- Right now he has Auburn and Alabama tied at the top.
- He's hoping to make a commitment this Summer.
- Florida State was tied with Alabama, but they've fallen down the list.
- He plans on being in Tuscaloosa this weekend.
- The one offer he doesn't have that he wants is Georgia.

Make that 3 updates.
BOL also got ahold of Seth Williams:
- Alabama has started contacting him again.
- He says Daboll, Locksley and Ansley have been talking to him.
- Saban apparently told him we want him to be our big-bodied WR in this class.
- He doesn't plan on making a decision until are his Senior season.

Owen Pappoe is going to Georgia's Spring game this weekend instead of ours.

Pierce Quick says Alabama leads again. He'll be on campus this weekend.
I wish he'd bring Clay Webb with him. Webb is supposedly going to Georgia instead.

BOL expects Paul Tyson's recruitment to take off very soon. He hasn't named Alabama his leader, but if we offered it would be over.
I know Bo Nix is going to Auburn so if we can land Tyson and little Tua next year we'll be fine.

Hank South still feels good with his Coynis Miller CB to Alabama pick. Miller doesn't appear to be in a hurry to make a decision.

Even though they've been in contact with him recently, Alabama has not offered Asa Martin.
