Maybe the people who put in work in this thread who don't want to see it deleted a week before NSD?

This. And those who appreciate that work don't want to see it be deleted.
But also, whether the poster likes it or not, those people have set up a business model to be paid for their research, interviews, and opinions. To provide that info for free to others is not cool.

LINK ]BREAKING: Alabama QB target Brevin White has made his decision | SEC Country
quote:
Brevin White has had one of the most interesting recruitment stories in the Class of 2018 as the 4-star quarterback out of Paraclete High School (Lancaster, Calif.) committed to Princeton this past summer, despite having offers to play in the FBS.
White took an official visit to Alabama last weekend and was strongly considering flipping to the Crimson Tide; however, he has decided to stick with his commitment to Princeton, according to Paraclete coach Dean Herrington.
With White sticking with Princeton, Alabama now turns its attention to 3-star quarterback Brock Purdy, who is taking an official visit to Texas A&M this weekend. Purdy also visited Tuscaloosa last weekend. After the visit, Purdy told SEC Country that he was down to Alabama, Iowa State and UCF. One would imagine that Texas A&M is also going to be in the picture after this weekend.
Purdy was the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Arizona after throwing for 57 touchdown passes, 4,410 passing yards and rushing for 1,016 yards to go along with 10 touchdowns.
Purdy spoke with SEC Country after his official visit to Alabama to describe what he liked about Tuscaloosa.
“The trip was amazing,” Purdy told SEC Country. “Coach [Nick] Saban and his coaching staff are the real deal. They pay attention to detail on everything they do. It felt like a dream being on campus and there’s a feeling of a winning culture everywhere I went.”
The main thing Purdy was looking for going into his visit was to see if Tuscaloosa was a great college town. It exceeded his expectations.
“Everything revolves around Alabama athletics,” Purdy said. “The fan base is amazing as well. It’s a great college town.”
If Purdy decides to go elsewhere, 4-star quarterback James Foster remains an option, but it’s unlikely Alabama strongly pursues him at this point.

It may be a bit disappointing but I'm kinda hoping we don't sign a QB so we have room for other positions

Don't blame him one bit for that decision. Hope he kills it in the Ivy League.

Don't worry about it. We all screw up at times. It's fluid, ya know

Yea I'm leaking fluids like crazy

Extremely fluid. KY fluid and it seems like we are staring down the barrel
But, it's fluid and we might end up being the barrel.

We are all in for that Purdy boy

So are we taking Purdy now or even a qb for that matter?
Posted on 2/2/18 at 4:18 pm to Crimson_Blinders
I'm thinking Purdy is a take. Who knows if Foster is a take if Purdy goes elsewhere.

The only way this recruiting cycle could get any better is if the NCAA passed a special waver allowing Cade Foster to begin his eligibility at kicker for us all over again in 2018.

Hey guys, I wanted to see what you have been hearing on a few targets. I work in Columbus and we have seeing a bunch of coaches this week about Justin Ross. Saban, Dabo, and Gus. Is he all BAMA? Keep him away from the other two. What are y’all hearing on Campbell? Folks on our side think it is close between UGA and BAMA with Miami third. Let’s hope Richt closes on signing day like he did at UGA :-) How about Surtain? LSU/ BAMA or us Miami really in this?
