The latest: I continue hear positive vibes regarding Surtain and Alabama. He took an official visit to Clemson this past weekend. He is expected to visit Miami this weekend. LSU is definitely still in it, but don't think he ends up in Baton Rouge. There is a lot of talk lately about this becoming an Alabama-Miami battle. I think Alabama wins in the end

I feel good about predicting Surtain and Eddie Smith in joining this class.
I strongly believe Alabama will get another defensive back. It's just hard to say which one. Alabama is going to sign a great defensive back class

TE Glenn Beal took an official visit to Alabama this past weekend. Ole Miss was the perceived favorite prior to the visit. Alabama apparently has a spot if he wants to commit. Coach Saban likes him lot.

Keep an eye on a possible unofficial visit this weekend from Dax Hollifield, four-star linebacker from Shelby High School in North Carolina.

None of his logic is that faulty. Seems we are trying to recruit 10 DBs hard which could only mean we aren't promised anyone. Everything else he said is pretty standard here. I would love to get Waddle and Ross too.
