The first post I understood what he was saying for the most part but this one hurts my head. Straight out of the gate I have no idea what he is trying to say about Eddie Smith.

I think he's trying to say (1) he heard Smith, Surtain, Walker and the Temple grad transfer kicker are coming, (2) a rumored Nigel Knott transfer may open another spot, and (3) he hopes that spot lets us take Sewell too.

I don't believe the "size" argument for Knott transferring.
Shyheim is like 6' 195
Knott is 5'11 185
Levi was 6' 185
Averett was 6'0 185

Yea he just not going to get to play that's all. Last two championships we won I believe he was in sweatpants, also Levi is even smaller than that. He was 170ish at the senior bowl.

IIRC Levi had the flu or something before the game. But yeah, he weighed in lower than listed.
Knott was RS the first year, so I understand the sweats then. This year I know he was battling an injury later in the season(Crutches) so it might just be that they rested him. The only reserve CB we really ran that game was Shyheim anyway. I don't remember Diggs popping in.

Wallace and Averett both weighed in about 175 at the senior bowl. So weight certainly wasn't the biggest factor. Maybe knott is struggling to be physical at that size more so than they were, but Averett and Wallace both took about 3 years to hit the field too. That should give knott some optimism that his time is still to come

You know I think he just isn't good enough or maybe the rumors are BS. Because one of the best safeties we've had the last couple years would avoid contact like no other. Eddie Jackson. Hootie Jones wasn't physical either.

Tried to tell you guys in the Depth Chart Post I made that Phidarian Mathis was going to be the man. My insider on Twitter said he’s the best player from the 2017 class. Redshirted though because of Payne/Raekwon
