What's up with the Vol fans swarming Olaijah Griffin's Twitter? Is he expected to end up at UT?

It's not just Olijiah Griffin. Vo11s fans do that for all high profile recruits UT is battling to land. And they ramp it up when the recruits are on visits to other schools. It's a bit stalky and creepy, iyam.

Parks had more to do with the 85 roster going into the spring not the 25 iirc

I triggered a hog hunting tangent itt with my remark that Hunter Brannon probably kills them with a knife. Huddie might get mad online again when he sees all these hog hunting posts.

Eta: A highlight was UASports23 posing as the great slayer of Hogzilla.

What I found interesting is Huddie rarely ever post in this thread but he decided to get upset because people were posting about In n Out and What a dang pile of crap burger.

Huddie got mad about that because of what happened when he posted in this thread making a big deal about a Mike Farrell comment in a posted article.

Farrell said he thought Hurts' passing struggles had been hurting our chances of landing top WRs and that Tua's breakout in the NCG fixes that.

It turned into the same old Tua vs Jalen debate and we told Huddie to keep that topic out of this thread. He then argued for a while that it was recruiting related.

So, later on when he saw all the Whataburger vs In-n-Out posting, Huddie ranted that fast food discussion isn't recruiting related.

Even Earl of Tidefans fame has admitted that our recruiting of skilled people was being affected. So the whole thing has had major recruiting implications.

As for big women, if the bottom is firm and sits up high, as long as the stomach doesn’t protrude nor sag, and as long as cellulite isn’t noticeable, mehhh.

But fast food really has no place here, I would agree.

I'm not exactly sure what my favorite fast food is, but I'm gonna post it in this thread when I figure it out.

It's hardly a hot take. Everyone with common sense realizes that.

Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Gordita Crunch is pretty compelling. And I have to tell you they really don’t scrimp on the cheese.

But I really don’t feel comfortable getting into it here. Is there a food forum?

I'll tell you what wasn't affected by Jalen Hurts, my favorite fast food place. (Not sure which one, stayed tuned for that)

Taco Casa is probably due some credit too for helping sway a few recruits. Just sayin'.

I only brought it up because Huddie was censured for stating that qbing had affected WR recruits. But I’m not sure really where my comment belongs. Perhaps you educate me so that I can move it to the proper place?

Exactly. Some folks don't do reading comprehension very well. Also kind of slow on the uptake of facetious remarks.

One of the guys said the other day that 8 is the HARD number with no wiggle room. But again, it's recruiting. And who knows if they have any ideas if further attrition are possible. I don't think anything is set in stone from one week to the next in recruiting.

Misinterpretation is naturally very common in email, text and message board conversations. The bigger issue is that some people kneejerk react into pissing contests when it happens. Instead, they should cordially clarify what they were intending to communicate. But perhaps some people enjoy stirring others into arguing with them.

The issue with the Tua vs Jalen topic is that it tends to turn into into prolonged childish arguing, name calling, etc. So, it's a good idea to exercise constraint before posting about that topic in threads intended for another topic. Besides, there's always one or more active threads dedicated to it.

So your saying the names “Tua” and “Hurts” present in the same sentence triggers people, which leads to a shite storm and derails the thread.

That makes sense. So maybe if the threads were depersonalized, then the same relevant material could be introduced without the deleterious effects. For example, whereas “Jalen’s inability to pass has turned off recruits” would lead to problems, “Our inability to execute the passing game has turned off recruits” might actually add to the discussion without risking any angry backlash.

Edifying. Thank you.
