Brown said he would've signed at the end of the ESP, but thought a ceremony was required first and wasn't able to do one last minute.
He's been pumping Bama to other recruits too. So, unless something suddenly has him rethinking, he seems solidly committed.
Concerning him visiting ATM, maybe he just wamts to keep a backup option open. A lot of kids' HS coaches advise them to do that.
I'm not worried about him. Tosh has done a great job recruiting him and they appear to have a great relationship.

I know he was saying all the right things , I just seen today him visiting college station . I think Langham will be very good also his legs are massive needs to work upper body which is what BAMA does!

A backup option for what? I mean he has a spot. He isn't a guy that needs a backup plan. You don't have to visit to do that anyway. He could just tell them to keep a spot open.

Bare more will be great IMO but we need depth inside bad. I'm willing to bed we will see offers to other kids if Brown keeps that visit scheduled.

I'm just guessing at why Brown has opted to do a late ATM OV. Yes he has a spot at Bama, but who knows what ATM might be telling him. Maybe they've made him worry he might lose it. Maybe mom, friends, GF, etc. are pressuring him to stay closer to home. Maybe Jimbo is being relentless and Brown has a hard time saying no to him. Maybe he just wants to enjoy a red carpet OV. Maybe Tosh will talk him out of going.

Actually I seem to remembered bama3714 saying that we correctly evaluated some DL guys from the past few years and we are good in regards to depth. One example he gave was Mathis.

Obviously Surtain is a highly regarded player and should be really good wherever he ends up, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't mostly want him to sign with us for the meltdown.

I would like to a see an LSU meltdown Landon Collins style over Surtain, but I think they know you guys are a serious contender this time around.

I mostly want him at Bama because he's a damn good CB. But, an LSU melt is indeed tasty icing on the cake.
