True. Kirby also has a few key advantages. He worked a long time under Saban, learned "The Process" well and is striving to duplicate it. He inherited a loaded roster and pretty good recruiting class at a program that was already doing pretty well. GA produces 40+ 4-5* HS players per year and GT is no threat to get them. The other big SEC East programs (UF, UT, SC) were "down" when Kirby went to UGA.

Apparently HIS HC is a huge Arkansas fan. The guy who I got the info from is the HC at another school in Huntsville but is very close with the other coach and Langham.
Langham's coach has tried to sway him away from Bama saying things like "you're not a good fit there" and it worked the opposite way. It motivated Malik to want to earn an offer from Bama. Weird, I know.

But how crazy is it that the state of Alabama has two 6'7" OTs in the Class of 2019 less than 75 miles apart?
Hell, add in Pierce Quick and we've got three OTs next year above 6'6" within a 90 mile radius.

How is he not a good fit? The big athletic guys thrive for us on defense. They all go to the NFL too. Can any of you guys remember a 3-4 end that we had that didn't at least make it to the NFL? They may not produce but all you can ask for is the chance.
