Accidental double post, so I'll post that Rodney Orr has crystal ball'ed Solomon to Bama. But like everyone else, he's also said it's a guess.

I took off tomorrow for a completely different reason than NSD. Should be fun.

There was an announcement time chart posted, but I'm too lazy to hunt for it

I live in the Mountain Time Zone so I may miss these first few announcements.

Y'all bring the motherfricking heat here and the SECRb and I'll bring the calvary once I wake up.

Around 10:30. Feels extremely good about Ray and Smith. Thinks it's been very tight for Ruggs, but that he's likely Bama at the end, and said it could go to either Bama, Michigan, or UGa (who he's said all along would be a big factor at the end) for Solomon. No mention of Parks (said he;s not heard anything in the last few days). But said some new developments. The Kinlaw thing seems to possibly have legs depending on Solomon. We'll see. That would be a huge recovery if we were to miss on Solomon.

I wonder if recruiting has always been this big of a shite-show? The interwebz just makes it a little more public.

I wonder if Coach Bryant had to wait till signing day to know if he actually had a player.

Thanks for that repost! I have a feeling Parks may be pushing his time back.

Since no announcements until around 9:00, I'll just set the alarm for 8:30, get up and check the signings and see what info may have leaked out and then get on here for the meltdown with Solomon.

It's been big since the recruiting sites took off. But social media has taken it into maximum warp overdrive.

I've said this a million times, but I used to buy the Forrest Davis magazines and then just wait until the newspaper came out the day after signing day, to see who we signed.

It seems primitive now lol

Those were the good days.

I bought that Forrest Davis post NSD magazine every year.

I wonder if he is still alive?

I sure hope he is still alive. He should get more credit for kinda starting this business.

He also went to my grandmother's church

None of this jalen talk would be going on if the defense had made the last stop on the last drive or if the refs would've called the pick play.

Bad way of looking at it. The offense going 3/15 on third down or something insane like that is what gives the talk. Especially since the QB had like 50 yards in the third quarter before a broken coverage td to OJ. Jalen's seat is warm.

This is an article from 2000 that has some quotes from Forrest Davis in it

Edit: I don't remember Forrest being that big of a Bama homer.

I'd love to see what Brodie could do with this supporting cast and this offensive staff.

He had such a strong arm. If he would have had any talent around him, no telling how many records he would have broken. I think the ADay with Mike Price, he went nuts

Huge homer. After we got Watts in 99 or 2000, whenever it was, he came on local radio and told the hosts that Watts was every bit of Peyton Manning.
