Top JUCO cornerback decommits from Alabama as signing day approaches

Less than two weeks before National Signing Day, Alabama lost a four-star commit from South Florida.
JUCO cornerback Jhavonte Dean used Twitter to announce his decommitment from the Crimson Tide. Dean thanked Alabama coaches in his message.
"Unfortunately, I won't be enrolling into the university," he said. "I've made a decision with my family and will be de-committing from the university of Alabama."
Dean played at Blinn Junior College and was the nation's top JUCO cornerback when he committed to Alabama last summer.
He dropped to a 3-star prospect, 247Sports wrote Friday, because his "sophomore film didn't quite match his measurables."
Rivals reported last week that the Homestead, Florida product visited nearby Miami but remained committed to Alabama.
The Tide has the No. 1 recruiting class according to all major services tracking the industry. Signing day is Feb. 1.

Garcia on Scout is probably hinting at Aubrey Solomon too. He was saying there is good news regarding a 5-star not on OV to Bama. News is behind a paywall.

I haven't seen that or anything new in the last few days, other than crystal balls popping up for Michigan. I was poking around earlier today, reading a few older articles, thinking, connecting dots, and then I realized it. He comin' baws.

I refuse to get my hopes up for Solomon. This has the strong probability of his mom hiding out with his signing papers until he chooses the school that she wants him to pick.
