Found a bare bones profile and Senior highlights for Magilla's kicker:

Jake Lane Highlights

The camera man doesn't track the ball worth a damn on some of his kicks, but he appears to have a strong leg.

4.  Ameer Speed passes the eye test, and his senior film looked just as good.  Scout saw speed live and on tape, and he was already a borderline Scout 300 prospect, but after re-evaluating him after his senior season, he has made the move up the rankings and into the Scout 300.  Speed is a 6-3, close to 200 pound corner that is tough at the line of scrimmage and he is very good on the perimeter as a tackler.  Georgia, North Carolina and Oregon get official visits in January and he will decide between those three, Michigan State and Virginia Tech on signing day.

Recruit X checks in at #240 overall.

6.  Montgomery (Ala.) Lee wide receiver Henry Ruggs was extremely impressive as senior and he capped off his senior year with one of the best performances in San Antonio (Texas) as an Army All-American.  Ruggs is an explosive athlete who is down to Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Penn State.  He is still raw in some areas, but he has speed, he creates separation and he can make big plays.  He moved into the Scout 100 and he is now the South's No. 6 wide receiver.

9.  It seems like we have been talking about Dylan Moses for the past decade, but the five star ends his high school career as the No. 1 inside linebacker in the country.  He started off being ranked as an athlete, then outside linebacker and he overtook the No. 1 spot for Scout in the final rankings.  Moses is likely to be a star at Alabama, where he is already enrolled and he will play the same role that former five stars Reggie Ragland and Reuben Foster have played the last four years.  Moses was named a five star three years ago and he finishes the No. 14 prospect in the country.

WR Tyrell Shavers - Lewisville (Texas)

New to the Top 100. There is not a prospect in this class at the position who may have as possible high of an upside as Shavers. he is not only a great physical specimen he has continued to make strides to be a more complete wide receiver. Committed to Alabama.

Its been used over the years as a reference to a player who wasn't expected in the class or even really known about, but ends up in it.

Earliest I personally recall is TideSports writers referring to a "Recruit X" that turned out to be Kenny Bell. He was on no one's radar to be in the class, yet he committed. Aaron Robinson this past class is another example...

One year, close to NSD, Andrew Bone announced that Bama would have a surprise "Recruit X" signee on NSD; one nobody would know Saban had been recruiting.

Edit: MG (above) has a better memory than me.
