I know some people are worried that Jeudy picks Florida tomorrow, but we have gotten 11 CBs for him since his announcement yesterday. No one had CB'd him anywhere else.

Not too big of a deal but Samuels needs a * as he is an FSU commit and staying there likely (maybe he should totally come off the board as his dad played at FSU too)

curious as to why you added him in the first place? some new info? I figured he's about as solid to a school as you can be 7 months out

Shea said this about Chris Allen:

I have moved my Crystal Ball on Chris Allen from LSU to Alabama. He's consistently said the Tide are his leader and I do believe him. I don't think he's really playing games or anything like that. Things can change, but that's where I'm at right now

I hate to say it, but if we can land Jarez Parks and Chris Allen I'd be okay with not landing Monty Rice.

And I really, really like Rice.

I like him too. Looking like we could actually land both Allen and Parks

Just added him because Bone was still talking about him.......plus Cowan has always maintained a relationship with him. Thanks for the info, I'll update it and change it out

Pompano Beach, Florida, 4-star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy gave the 32 schools that reportedly offered him scholarships yet another reason why his every move in recruiting is important.

Over the weekend, Jeudy posted a 70-second video on Twitter showcasing his speed, acceleration, pass-catching ability and, perhaps most importantly, his route running. Entering Monday morning, the video had more than 1,400 retweets and more than 1,900 likes.

Alabama is the school to watch for Jeudy. Per his 247Sports Crystal Ball, Alabama is a heavy favorite in the recruiting race, but in-state schools Florida, Miami and Florida State will be doing their parts to sell Jeudy before national signing day. On Friday, Jeudy dominated at Florida's Friday Night Lights camp, according to 247Sports' Luke Stampini.

At 6'1", 177 pounds, Jeudy is ranked the No. 6 receiver and No. 35 overall player in the 2017 class. He was a major contributor for Vapor Speed, the team that won the seven-on-seven championship at The Opening.

Is Jeudy so highly ranked based on camp performance? I don't follow high school games too closely but I think I read like 40 catches, 500 yards and 10 TDs last year. 10 TDs is a ton on that many touches, but the other numbers didn't blow me away.

Obviously offenses in high school are sometimes run dominant b/c QBs often suck

His team, Deerfield Beach, had him, Cavin Ridley and Aaron Robinson as wideouts last year. Ridley signed with USCe and Robinson signed with us a DB after being committed to Florida for months. That's some good talent to spread the ball around to.

He may end up there as well if we don't make a push for him

Would this be the lowest number of in-state kids we've ever taken?

Fwiw, Chris Née, of the FSU site, thinks this is just his first commitment. He's implying he could change his mind later because we're taking four or five receivers. My guess is he thinks Jeudy could decide later to go with Miami or FSU.

I don't think Juedy is worried, he should make an impact once he gets on campus, plus we only took 2 WR's last year.

I think we're going to try all of them out at ILB to see who is effective there first (as it's such a position of need going into next year). Whoever looks really good there will likely stay, and whoever seems more comfortable at OLB will wind up there. By "all of them", I mean Cowan, Gary Johnson, Benton, Allen, etc. Hopefully Ben Davis comes in ready, Mack Wilson recovers from surgery quickly, and some of the young guys develop this Fall.

People inside Bama's program and coaches in South FL have raved about Jeudy since he was a sophomore in HS. They think he's underranked nationally, a carbon copy of Calvin Ridley, and a 3 years and out 1st round draft pick. While that sounds like excessive fanboy hype, that's been the consistent line coming from them for a long time. In camps this Spring and Summer, he's pretty much lived up to that. With the exception of one or two drops at The Opening, he put on a dominant performance, especially in the 7 on 7. It was amazing that he didn't get more of a bump in the rankings (he got a huge one on one site, actually fell a few spots on another which is a huge mystery, and the other two sites haven't updated yet) than he did. I've expected him to wind up a 5* on several sites ultimately.

Incidentally, LOL at that L5U guy at saying that Neil Farrell has "an uncontested commitable offer from Bama". Fans...

Hate homer guys like that......there is not a soul alive who follows this that doesn't know Bama is taking 4 or 5. He knows it, Jeudy knows it, even #6 and #7 know it.......What would make Jeudy pick Bama knowing they are going to sign that many, then flip when they do.

Click bait if you ask me....
