We're being very cautious with the Wilson recruitment. It's a circus. Everybody close to him seems to have a hand in it for something (based on what those that will actually comment on it are saying). One of the mods simply said "Very comparable to the Tunsil recruitment". If he gets to go where he wants to go, I think we'd have a good shot. Think there's a better chance he doesn't wind up at Bama, though. And yes, i'm fully aware of how "homeristic" and "everybody's cheating but us, and if everybody would just leave these kids alone we'd sign all of them" that sounds, but in this one case, I do believe we're being very cautious even though he personally likes us a lot.

It happens man. Chad Jackson, William Green, Markus Manson, Jameis Winston, Chris Casher, Solomon Patton, etc.
We'll be fine.

Cowan certainly thinks we lead for him.

I think Chase Young visiting on Sunday, we should get a feel for where we stand with him.

As stated above, Wilson if left alone, would have a good shot at picking Bama........but too many people pulling him in different ways for "their" personal reasons.

I hope he's right. Again, I think the issue is that the decision is probably not in Wilson's hands (at least that's the feeling).

Per Rodney Orr, OM feels good about it's chances of landing Trey Smith.

If we didn't already have Leatherwood and Baker on board I'd like our chances with Smith more, contrary to what he said this weekend.

One of the most important weeks in college football recruiting has concluded with the end of The Opening in Beaverton, Ore.
Now that it’s finally over, we figured it’d be a good time to recap the best players and moments from the camp, and what it means for the rest of the SEC.
Take a look:

Agree. Common sense would tell us it'll be hard to land a 3rd OT that's considered of the 5* caliber.

Tua was only a 4.9
I thought he was faster than that.

then why is he considered a dual threat?
Posted on 7/12/16 at 8:22 am to mrbroker
He may not be inherently fast, but he has excellent field vision. He may be one of those guys who plays faster with the pads on.

BOL says Major Tennison may flip during his visit on July 21st.

Its not his straight speed but his lateral agility when the pocket collapses that is impressive, Vick'ish.

would be a good get, but I'd like to flip that TE committed to OU that was on Tau's team in Oregon. He caught everything. Incredibly impressive catch radius.

Texas mod hinted at that a few days ago on their site.
