I don't know who. I don't even know if Burns is connected (doubt he is). I just am excited Burns is visiting.

It sounds like the Kongbo situation is from our end, so I guess we'll just have to do something we're not very good at... be patient. 13 more days of pure craziness.

Is Bama going to get any commits before signing day? Bama has had two kids commit since the season started and are about to lose one of them to Maryland. Which will bring the commit list down to 15 and possibly losing another commit to Miss St.. I read on here that Bama will likely sign 27 or 28 players this year. Will there be 13 commitments on signing day.

Yes. And it's going to be fricking epic.

We will all start asking for a "Saban's Dozen" when ordering donuts.

If my goal were trying to be an insider, I'd be a dang fool with trying to start doing it while Saban were at the helm. The way the recruiting board changes from day to day is enough to make anybody who makes "definite" pronouncements about individual recruits look dumb. We'll be in on some big five star, act like they are our #1 target at a position, and learn that we won't take their commitment because we like a 3* better. That kind of stuff happens all the time under his leadership. Couple that with the crazy drama among the recruits these days and it makes for some recruiting chaos.

According to my sources, if NSD were tomorrow, we'd have Rashan Gary in the bag. Tifwiw

I know you're joking, but on signing day the joke may end up being on Gary's Mom.

I was. That's just a picture from an In Living Color skit (it's not actually Gary and his mom).

3* RB Brandon Stephens just decommitted from Stanford. We offered back in May. Could be another RB target to watch. BOL just posted this:

quote:

Running back Brandon Stephens (Plano, Tex.) has re-opened his recruitment from Stanford, as first-reported by 247Sports.com, per Stephens and his mother.

Alabama was his second choice before the Stanford pledge was made early this fall. Alabama went in-home Monday as Crimson Tide wide receivers coach Billy Napier met with the family over dinner.

Wisconsin, Texas and Oklahoma have continued to recruit the prospect, one of the nation's top backs, since he originally committed to Stanford.

Look for many other schools to begin showing interest in Stephens this evening.

As a senior, Stephens rushed for 1,389 yards including a 6.3 yards per carry average and 15 touchdowns.

Stephens carries a 3.4 core GPA and holds a 23 ACT score.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

He's ranked as the nation's No. 20 running back by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

AU got a CB for Elysee Mbem-Bosse. Would be a big hit for us in the All-Name Team competition.

This is irrelevant, because signing day is not tomorrow, and we're not getting Gary
