Maaybe if they visit she will realize that there is no shortcut to success. Maybe she will realize hard work and discipline is great for her son.

Dare Rosenthal is transferring to IMG:

quote:

Moses originally committed to LSU before backing off that pledge.

According to reports, Moses is transferring due in part to the fact he can graduate in December at IMG, allowing him to enroll in January at whichever college he will attend. Early graduation is growing trend in college football. If recruits can graduate in December and enroll in January, they are allowed to participate in spring practice, giving them a better chance at seeing playing time in the fall as a true freshman.

On Friday, Dare Rosenthal of Ferriday transferred to IMG Academy. Rosenthal, a 6-foot-7, 310-pound sophomore two-way lineman has already committed to Alabama

Scout video on Keyshawn Young. LINK

He's visiting the last weekend in January.

He's always been high on Alabama, but we cooled on him for a bit. Perhaps we are pursuing him now that we've lost out on others?

I refuse to stop beating the drum on Scales playing rush end, he has so much more upside there.

Especially if Bama lands Asiasi like they've been favored to...

From the UF board:

quote:

After visits this weekend Polite said he is "Very Solid" a Gator. USC is still making a strong push. Current Commit Vosean Joseph per Scout.com has said Bama is his leader now. Not sure why he hasn't decommitted then. Aaron Robinson is supposedly looking hard at Bama. He has some enrollment/grade issues currently that may affect his eligibility. Nelson also has Grade issues. CB is the most intriguing commits for me currently to watch. We have 6 committed and 4 are on flip/eligibility concern watch list. Mack Wilson and Jaewon Taylor rated their UGA visit a perfect 10. I think its a two dog race for Wilson between Bama and UGA now.

Excuse my ignorance, but Aaron Robinson is a new name to me, anybody know anything about him?

Not much is out there, been really quiet since they offered.

He played with Cavin Ridley, and most believe he'll have to pick another school because of grades.

Bama isn't pushing for Jared Mayden either, so maybe they feel good about their CB targets in Carter and Knott.

In conclusion, if you believe Scout, we get Ben Davis, Mack Wilson, Jared Mayden, Jaquan Yulee, Dontavious Jackson, and Shyheim Carter. We strike out on all of our top WR targets.

I gotta agree with Bama3714, those were some shitty predictions.

I guess that could be a good thing by getting him out of LA, but it also opens up a lot of possibilities for him to go elsewhere.

Five-star prospect says Alabama will make his final four

quote:

Jonathan Kongbo, a five-star defensive end from Arizona Western College, per Rivals’ rankings, told SEC Country that Saban’s main message to him was the fact that they need defensive linemen who can come in immediately and start.

“He reiterated the fact that he would rather recruit a high school guy and develop them, but he told me they need a JUCO guy to step in from Day 1,” Kongbo said. “He wouldn’t be here in Yuma, if he didn’t need me to come in and make an impact on the team.”

When Kongbo does make a commitment on National Signing Day, early playing time is going to be one of the most important factors when he makes his decision. Kongbo, who has three years of eligibility remaining, wants to see the field as soon as he can.

“It may be my main factor right now,” he said. “I would like to go to a place where I can get some game experience.”

The 6-foot-6, 264-pounder said he’s being recruited at the JACK position, which means in Alabama’s 3-4 package, he would play outside linebacker and in the Tide’s base 4-3 alignment, he would play defensive end. Heading into Monday’s visit with Saban, it was one of his unanswered questions.

“That was the biggest thing I wanted to know,” Kongbo said. “I wanted to know how I would be utilized.”

Kongbo, who just released his top eight schools two days ago, is planning on cutting his list in half Monday night. One school that will definitely make the list? Alabama.

“They have proven themselves to be winners,” Kongbo said. “A lot of people could talk badly about Alabama, but the facts are that they win. That’s another thing that Coach Saban said. I brought up some questions, and he said a lot of people are going to say this and that about Alabama, but facts are facts. They win a lot. They produce linemen that end up playing in the NFL.”

The Arizona Western College prospect, by way of Surrey, British Columbia, will make his first trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend for an official visit. If everything goes according to plan, there’s a good chance Alabama could solidify the top spot in his final four.

“Alabama is definitely a school I’m looking at,” he said. “It’s pretty high up on that list, and that’s without me going there.”

As far as his last visit goes, Kongbo said he’s considering visiting USC, Florida State or Oregon.

Multiple posters on the UF board say he is ready to flip, however they think he is just a back up plan, and we won't take his commit at this time.

From BOL:

According to at least one source close to the Top100 receiver, there is an increasing confidence that Brown will end up in Tuscaloosa when all is said and done on Signing Day.

Brown as in AJ Brown.
