This Ole Miss stuff is getting ridiculous. When the hammer drops on them, there might not be much left.

Ridiculous. Can y'all tell me about Darius Anderson? Is he a back burner recruit?

Thanks for letting me on the board guys . I am really excited about watching Kendell Jones in your defense. LSU fans seem to feel confident about Rashard Lawrence. Any thoughts that he may end up with the Tide?

Unless we can make a late surge, I don't see Rashard Lawrence ending up in our class.

I am amazed at how your president and AD made Les practically a lame duck coach, yet his recruiting hasn't suffered at all. Quite impressive.

Isn't Ohio St a bigger threat at this point than Alabama?

How good is he compared to his brother? Calvin is a fricking beast.

He's good. He runs good routes and seems to have good hands. I think he would have struggled to get out of his brother's shadow here, and probably realized that given how Ridley has performed in the latter half of this season.

Congrats to the young man. Hope he enjoys success except for very narrow windows when the Tide is on the other sideline.

Looks like the Nigel Warrior ship has sailed, now that Smart and Tucker are gone.

From the Aubs:

quote:

Ahmmon Richards (4* WR) says that his dad and Coach Craig had an instant connection because he used to watch Craig when he played for Auburn. He also said his mom feels like Auburn is a place she could leave her son and not worry about him. Per Keith N. of 247 Intel suggest Miami could be our biggest threat but he's still set to visit Tenn and Bama as well as Miami.

Hopefully we can get back some of that momentum we had earlier this year.

* On other Georgia prospects, the gut feel is that Alabama losing Kirby Smart to Georgia probably means safety Nigel Warrior chooses Georgia or Tennessee.

Another article said Warrior was close with Tucker, couldn't find that article.

Seriously though, good luck to the kid. It sucks because we probably won't get his teammate (Junior 4-star ATH Devon Hunter) now.

Now get that Joseph kid to commit and we working with something. I don't care how many stars that kid has.

He is a missile. Reads the game very well and is very quick. He'll put on the weight and be a monster. If he was 15 pounds heavier he'd be a five-star.

He would certainly be a nice pull. I said yesterday I really like the way he plays the game.

This is why most recruiting sites are useless. The kid never played there.

He played his first 3 years at Southlake Christian Academy where his father was on the staff as well. Back in February he moved to Conn. to live with his mother after some type of falling out with his father. It sounds like some shady stuff going on with his father controlling the recruiting. The father even hacked his twitter account.

His father became the HC at Mountain Island and some think he got the job because he promised to get his son and nephew to both transfer there. Robert Jr moved backed to the area and is living with his pastor from his church. He played at E Gaston HS this fall. The reason he did not play the whole season was as he was getting ready to start in August for EGHS some information got leaked that he was practicing with Mountain Island and he was not cleared to play by the district and the state until they could investigate. Most in that area believe it was his father that leaked it because he was mad he did not enroll at MICS.

His father is not only a coach but a self proclaimed mentor. His cousin is going to Cuse this year and maybe his other cousin next year. Many in the area see his father as the next Otis the Pimp in NC. Even a few weeks ago he was trying to reach out to his son via twitter and his son still has him blocked.

A lot of rumors he is trying to do what Otis did and use these kids to position himself for a coaching job in college. By the way his father talks about his close relationship with Luper.

Good info. I remember most of us were pretty high on Washington in the early stages of this class then he committed to Syracuse out of the blue and we moved on.

It sounds like he is dealing with a shitty situation. I hope for his sake he gets to go somewhere that will give him the support he needs.

Ranking the classes by most number of three stars:

2007: 14
2010: 10 TITLE
2008: 10
2009: 9
2013: 8 TITLE
2012: 7 TITLE
2011: 5
2014: 4
2015: 3

It seems the years that we go home with the title, we take more three stars. I assume that is due to coaches focusing more on game prep than recruiting.

Last year we had a consolation prize for losing to tOSU with that monstrous recruiting class. This year is all or nothing for the title, as I think we will just barely be in the top five for recruiting classes unless we pull a rabbit out of our asses.

Saban and staff are going to have to kill it after the natty game. Our class is unstable at this point it seems, need to lock some guys down and land some big fish to close it out. So far, least impressed I've been with a class at this point in a recruiting cycle since 2007. Pruitt needs to earn his pay the next few weeks...
