Yes his grades look good and he only needs to get a decent score on the ACT which I do not think will be an issue from what is being said.

PJ Hall commits to Tulane. I kind of thought he'd get some better offers.

Can anyone figure out @MacAskew4 favorite school?
I like how the OM merch is a backpack. Since those usually come stuffed with paper, I say OM.

Alabama running back commit B.J. Emmons looks quicker and more explosive than he did over the summer on the game circuit and his ability to make plays in space was on full display. In terms of his fit in Alabama's offense he's likely more of a Kenyan Drake type than a Derrick Henry type, but with his playmaking ability it's easy to see why SEC teams were battling for Emmons. He finished the game with 89 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and also caught one pass for 15 yards.

I think the back pack is a message to Ole Miss...as in the back pack is "light".

Crimson and Blue Chips returns Friday for a look back at a busy week, one where UA inked a pair of prospects, but also where elite prospects picked schools not named Alabama. Reason for concern? Absolutely not. We'll explain why and Kirk McNair will join the program for more on the Tide's CFP run looming.

One interesting thing in the CABC podcast is that John Garcia Jr. thinks we target one more OT for this class.

So apparently Clemson has continued celebrating their playoff berth by going to some fun park.
It seems like they are taking a happy go lucky approach while we are taking a business approach to getting ready for the playoffs. We will see soon enough which approach works the best.

If we lose Tosh and that causes us to lose Emmons, I'll have a nice melt

As with Knott, we've detailed this to be an Oregon-Bama race and that will continue. Despite any other commitments, he's a must take in this class.

From the Notre Dame 247 site:

2) Demetris Robertson — Will it be Notre Dame, Georgia, Alabama or Stanford for the U.S. Army All-American wide receiver. The Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep five-star talent will not announce his commitment until National Signing Day, but sources remain confident that the it would be Alabama or Notre Dame if he had to choose today. That said, the Bulldogs are a major threat due to Robertson’s terrific relationship with head coach Kirby Smart and the Cardinal will be in it as long as he is accepted into the university.

Rusty Mansell held a Q&A over on the Georgia 247 site. Here's a question and answer that relates to us:
quote:
Do you think we have a legit chance of landing both Mack Wilson and Ben Davis
I think UGA has a very good chance with Wilson. I will be surprised if Davis ends up at UGA in the end. I do think that UGA is going to take a big swing at both.

We could really have an unreal signing day. I don't want to get my hopes up though

More from Rusty:
This kid's recruitment is going to be one hell of a ride.

Does Jake Fromm flip to the good guys?
I think UGA has a very good shot with him. Lets see how this plays out over the next few months and see if they get Fromm on campus in January.

What are you hearing on Derrick Brown?
I think in my opinion that Auburn is the team to beat right now, but I think this is long way to go right now. With the coaching change at UGA, they will have to do some catching up. Alabama is also in it hard too. This is going to be the most watch recruiting battle down the stretch to me all the way until signing day.

Nigel Knott - Look I'll just give you my thought here. The Ducks have a legit shot here. And it's going to be close. But the Ducks beat Bama once for Dakota Prukop, is there enough magic in the bottle to do it twice?

The Florida Gators are sitting on 24 commitments with just seven weeks until National Signing Day. Look for Florida to ink a full class in this 2016 cycle. Considering Florida’s positional needs, chances of landing the prospect as well as the player’s skill set, GatorBait.net brings you the latest edition of Florida's Ten Most Wanted:

3. Lyndell Wilson LB Montgomery (Ala.) Carver: Florida is in need of a deep linebacker class, and there is not a better one on the board than the 6-foot-2, 230-pound Wilson. The Gators are battling Alabama for Wilson’s pledge, while Georgia tries to get in the mix as well.

From the Maryland 247 site:
Perhaps Lane was interviewing for their OC position, not head coach as previously reported.

Durkin's choice of an offensive coordinator remains a mystery.
Unconfirmed rumors persist that Durkin is making a play for Alabama's Lane Kiffin, and we've heard unconfirmed reports from SEC sources that Kiffin and Bama coach Nick Saban might have already agreed to part ways. But no concrete information has surfaced on whether Maryland's truly involved with Kiffin.
Perhaps Lane was interviewing for their OC position, not head coach as previously reported.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The 79th edition of the Shrine Bowl of the Carolina's featured players committed to colleges all over the country and several of them made big plays in Saturday's 54-39 victory for North Carolina over South Carolina. He's a rundown of which schools had the best day in Hub City.

3. Alabama
The Tide are known to have the occasional commit in the Shrine Bowl and this year running back B.J. Emmons carried the torch for the school very well. He finished the game with 89 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and also caught one pass for 15 yards. Emmons had one of the game's most exciting plays when he left a South Carolina defensive end grasping for air after the two met in the flat. Emmons has quick feet and it tough to bring down in space and it's easy to see why the Tide were so happy to snap him up after he decommitted from Georgia earlier this year.
