that's what I wanted to know. Obviously, no entrance requirements for the LSU recruiting or SECR board. But for this board, UT, and Mississippi state he'd have had to request permission. I guess the admins figured they'd take a flyer on him.

Might want to put Tyler Simmons on commitment alert. We're extremely high on him (ran in the low 4.3s at our camp), and the feeling is mutual.

TIFWIW but a poster on the bama scout site claims to know a player from the all star game and said that Jeffrey Simmons raved about bama all week long..would be a massive steal from the state of mississippi

Somebody on BOL posted info they got from Georgia's 247 site that said Tyler Simmons gave Saban a silent commit when he went to see him at his school recently. That supposedly came from the coach
