Brown is the #1 WR on the board.

After that, I don't know what the pecking order is. I'd guess Ridley, since he put on a heck of a show at our camp this Summer, and it would help get Jerry Jeudy next year, who is viewed as as good of a prospect by our staff as Amari Cooper/Calvin Ridley.

We're having a nice little run with elite WRs. Need to continue that.

He kind of sort of predicted Terrell Hall and Jeffery Simmons to be in our class.

Now that is some really good news!

Thanks TS

Greg Little looks real excited on his official visit to LSU:

That is a sour looking group.

I sure do wish we could get more stats from recruits' games on Friday night. TS does a good job posting what he finds. But for some reason, apparently the pay sites don't put this info out. Or maybe it's tough to collect. Rarely am I able to hear what more than 3-4 of our commits are doing from week to week.

Speak of the Devil:

-Miller Forristall caught 5 passes for 133 yards and two TDs Friday night.
-TJ Simmons and Clay-Chalkville won 72-6 but they didn't post stats. Simmons, however, did practice at cheerleader in the 4th quarter.
-Najee Harris had 240 total offensive yards with 4 TDs, 3 2-point conversions and a fumble recovery.

This is from BOL. They usually post a more comprehensive list on Mondays.

Nice read from our friend rtr_2014 from TSWSNBN:

quote:

Some of my thoughts on our remaining football targets:

My personal rankings of our WR targets in order: Demetris Robertson, AJ Brown, Keith Gavin, Cavin Ridley, Mykel Jones, the rest

It seems like Dexter Lawrence is our last shot at adding an elite DT in this class. I think Kendell Jones will need a few years in the program before making an impact and Raekwon is pretty overrated IMO. Really hope we can land Lawrence

I like Terell Hall and Jeff Simmons on the edge. All the recruiting analysts think we are in great position for both. I don't think Marlon Davidson will seriously consider us unless AU absolutely implodes

Still confident in Wilson and Davis being a part of this class. Interesting that the Cali LB Kelly will give us an OV. Probably too little too late but you never know.

Knott to Bama is looking pretty good. Saw some rumors that he is already a silent commit. There has been some buzz about Shyheim coming back but I am skeptical. I was feeling good about Warrior but it seems like he might be trending to Tennessee now. I think Josh Perry ends up elsewhere

Even if we don't land Little, there are still some pretty good OTs left out there to finish an already outstanding OL class. Still hope Greg rolls with the tide though

I'm already worried about our RB situation next year. I agree with JAG in that Emmons is the best back in the country this year, but who knows if he will qualify? We definitely need another RB in this class and I think Devin White is a good fit. Hasn't been a lot of buzz around him lately but I think it just makes sense.

Feel good about the QB position with Hurts.

Our 2017 class is off to a great start. I like Jake Fromm and he seems like he will be a real leader in this recruiting class. Don't think we will pursue any other QBs

Obviously like where we are with the RB situation. I haven't seen enough tape of the RB from Tuscaloosa to have an opinion on him yet but he could be a nice addition

I really hope we keep OG Netori Johnson. Have heard nothing but good things about him. I was on the UGA 247 board a lot before and after we played them and there was a thread about recruits and one of the posters who attended the game said that Johnson was the clear alpha dog of the entire recruit visitor section and was talking to everyone. Other than that, would he nice to land the two instate tackles in Troxell and Randolph. I don't really worry about OL recruiting these days. Our actual Offensive line play, on the other hand...

I'd be shocked if Bowie out of MS actually signed with Bama. I think Jerry Jeudy and Nico Collins will go to Bama. Also I hope that WR from up in Missouri whose name I can never remember will round out the WR group. He recently released a top 3 of Bama, Mizzou and OSU. The 2016 and 2017 WR classes could both be great.

I don't really know any 2017 defensive linemen yet

I think Markail Benton goes to AU and Nate McBride goes to UGA unfortunately. There's obviously a ton of time before they actually have to decide, but that's the vibe I get. There's been some buzz about that ILB from up in North Alabama and Bama lately. Dylan Moses is going to LSU. I think we might miss out on a bunch of our top LB targets in 2017

Could be an interesting secondary class. If we land Warrior in 2016, we'd be in great shape for Gibbs. Early on I though William Poole was Bama bound but I don't know about that anymore. We have the safety commit from GA. I know the top safety in the class is from Texas and was at the Wisconsin game but I have no idea if there is any real interest.

I always type way more than I want to lol

A couple things to remember about Cavin Ridley.

1)He had an awesome camp at Bama.

2)He's several years younger than his brother, even if only 1 year by grade level. Calvin is already 21 and change. I assume he was held back a couple years. Calvin wasn't an All American WR at 17 or 18. He was a bit of a late bloomer by age.

According to a talent evaluator that I respect a lot (That has shown a very good ability to project guys that aren't 5*s to being great players), he says Cavin has "elite change of direction". He is extremely high on Cavin. Might he be an elite WR at age 21 as well as his brother?

Someone on another site posted that Greg Little might be committing somewhere BEFORE he takes his OV to Bama. If true, that doesn't sound good. Anybody hearing anything?
