We are nine pages behind tMEGATHREAD of last year
On this date in 2013 we were celebrating the likelihood of ending up with Tabor and Hampton while conceding Evans to the Aubs. Recruiting

Is anyone in this class thus far in danger of not qualifying?
Alluded to this in an earlier thread, but are we looking to take any ILB in this class or are we seeing a transition in recruiting to combat the influx of spread offenses in the SEC?

TD Moton probably won't make it grade wise.

Adonis Thomas will be an ILBer for us.

Adonis Thomas and Josh McMillon are our ILBs for this class.
TD Moton probably won't qualify. Beyond that I think we are good to go.

Why?
Closest I've seen to Dontari Poe type player, very active even at NG, gives Bo Davis MUCH more flexibility with Payne who can be a "Dareus" type cog to use at IDT and 3 man end.
I'm not sure how many years he will have to play (Magilla might know this) but if he is allowed to transfer, he would be a huge addition along with what already looks like a phenomenal front 7 class. Bama's DL added impact guys from retread and JuCo last year and it looks like they liked that route and will do it again

I could name five wide receivers I wish we would pursue before Cager. I know, trust Saban, but I don't see how he's any better than Sims or Kief.

Don't think Judy Bonner will sign off on Taylor IMO. His girlfriend, and I have no idea if it's the same one, goes to LSU.
2 to play 2.
2 to play 2.

Three-star WR Lawrence Cager releases top five
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State was in good positioning with three-star wide receiver Lawrence Cager of Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall early this week.
Not anymore.
Cager told cleveland.com on Monday evening that his latest top five, in order, is Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Alabama, Virginia Tech and Mississippi.
It was interesting when Ohio State, once figured to be one of Cager's leaders, wasn't on it. He said that's "mainly because of the coaching change."
News broke Monday morning that offensive coordinator Tom Herman is expected to accept the head coaching position at Houston next year, and that change on the coaching staff has Cager thinking twice.
Is Ohio State dead?
"I don't think they are necessarily dead," Cager said, "but Coach Herman leaving was big."
The reason Ohio State was considered one of the teams to beat for the 6-foot-5, 202-pound receiver is his close friendship with five-star quarterback Torrance Gibson of Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage, a Buckeyes commit.
When the Herman news went public, Gibson expressed that he was sad that Herman was leaving but he told cleveland.com that he would have done the same thing.
"I'm a little sad to see him go because he's a great offensive coordinator, a great coach and a great person on and off the field," Gibson told cleveland.com on Monday afternoon. "But I'm happy for him, actually.
"He always wanted the opportunity to be a head coach, and he saw his opportunity and he took it. I would've done the same thing if they offered me a head coaching position if I were in his shoes. I'm happy for him."

From the 247 FSU Unconquered board:

If we're all tossing out conspiracy theories, how about Pac 12 and SEC reaching out to each other and saying you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Really not saying it happens, but would have like the refs to be Big 10 and ACC, so we could make the deal. I'm telling you, it's a conspiracy man.

Wiltfong from 247 still thinks that Harris signs with Kentucky.
