Highest future draft pick = Deionte Thompson (more fluid HCD)
Which is crazy when you consider how fluid HCD is.

With the level that Bama is recruiting this is what I hope to see pay dividends. Be it a team leader, physical freak etc.

Here's mine (some are the same) :
Favorite recruit (skill) = Leo Lewis.
Most ability =Deionte Thompson. He is going to hurt some fools on the field.
Favorite recruit (personality) = Mekhi. Love his team first attitude and how hard he has been recruiting. I have a serious fan crush on him
Most intrigued = Anfernee Jennings. I am intrigued by what the staff saw in him to accept his commitment so early in a tight numbers class.
Most versatile = SBB
Biggest sleeper = Desherrius Flowers. I know he is a 4 star, but he has been taken for granted by Bama fans. he will shine in Bama's offense.
Highest future draft pick = Calvin Ridley. Won't surprise me if he becomes a five star before the end of this year. When asked about him on twitter, Cooper said "he's legit."

With 9 spots left, who do we take? Besides Payne, who do we truly need?
QB, 1-2 more RBs, Durante, 1-2 OTs, Payne, 1 more NT type, 1 more S/ATH who can play safety, 1 more ILB
Sills, Gibson, Durante, burrel, Carr, Payne, amonte Caban, Keaton Anderson as an ATH, and I could see us taking Bradrick shaw if we don't land another RB besides Gibson

I forgot about Keaton Anderson

I'll give it a shot too.
QB: Waller, Dormady or Sills
RB: Gibson
TE: Harris
OT: Richmond or the kid from Florida that just got an offer
LB: The Jeffersons (moving on up
)
DT: Payne and one more
Ath: Godwin
WR: Durante
Wildcard: CB Jalen Thompson (assuming he gets an offer at camp)
That's 27. Probably won't get both of the Jeffersons though.

Our recruiting is becoming video game like. I remember on the early NCAA Football games I would bring in 20 5*s

shite. I forgot about Anderson too. frick my whole projection then.

I guess Gibson would be the odd man out in my scenario if Anderson commits. That's two classes in a row with only one RB though. We need to hit that spot hard in 2016 if that's the case.

How can we forget the smart, blue-collar, hard-working, coach on the field?
Did I forget any of the other ways we compliment white linebackers?

On second thought do we really want to give Keaton Anderson a spot with so much elite talent left on the board?

You don't think we will actually have a recruiting year with only one flip (Town aka that bastard.) ?
Posted on 5/25/14 at 9:18 pm to TideSaint
I would take ten Corey Reamers, Vinnie Sunseris, and Brad Smellys every day of the week.

A bit anticlimactic, but the battle for the best recruiting class looks done with 8 months left before National Signing Day. #Alabama #RTR

Alabama has landed commits/signed players from 27 different states since Saban arrived in 2007.

Ledbetter could flip. But I think he's solid now.

Alabama landed another top target Sunday night.
Hale Hentges, a four-star tight end from Jefferson City, Mo., verbally committed to Alabama Sunday night. He chose the Crimson Tide over schools like Auburn, Ohio State, Florida State, Missouri and Michigan.
Hentges is rated the nation's No.2 tight end, according to 247Composite. He caught 61 passes for 940 yards and 15 touchdowns last season as a junior. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect, who has also played defensive end in high school, has been recruited to play H-back at Alabama. Alabama tight ends coach Bobby Williams was his primary recruiter.
"I wanted to play for a program that has a pro-style offense that's going to use multiple tight ends," Hentges told 247Sports. "Everyone at Alabama (tight ends) have come out (to the NFL) the last few years under coach Saban and that was really intriguing.
"Also, the push from Coach Saban and Coach Williams was something that was too good to pass up. They're such great people and I really have great respect for them and everything they do. One of the biggest things was when I took my two trips down there, it was such a great sense of home, that I felt when I was there. That was one of the best feelings I've felt."
Hentges told 247Sports he is "locked in" to Alabama and wouldn't take visits to other schools.
Hentges is the 16th class of 2015 recruit to commit to Alabama. The Tide have the nation's top-rated recruiting class, according to 247Composite.
He is the first recruit from the state of Missouri to commit to Alabama during the Saban era. Saban has now landed commitments/signed players from 27 states, per AL.com Alabama beat writer Andrew Gribble.

Cap I love those guys too but we'd be in deep trouble if we had 10 of them on our roster.
