Alabama head coach Nick Saban is at the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall tonight, but that hasn't stopped him from recruiting. Top 100 offensive tackle Drew Richmond tweeted that he spoke with Saban, who is in the draft green room, minutes prior to the draft.

Alabama is in Richmond's top group, along with Tennessee, Ole Miss, Ohio State, and others. The Memphis (Tenn.) Memphis University School is set to visit Tuscaloosa on May 29. He last visited Alabama on March 30.

Just talked to coach Saban live from the draft. I'm too hype right now ??

Trey, are you happy with what Cleveland pulled off last night? I know I would be if I was a Browns fan.

Ya, very, Now we need to grab Mathews or Lee in the second, and hope Jeremy Hill falls to the third.

I don't see Hill falling to the third, but folks are sleeping on Isiah Crowell.

He's had a profile and highlights on the first page for about a week. He's pretty nasty.

Leo Lewis is headed to Alabama to play inside linebacker. Yet, it wouldn't be surprising to see head coach Nick Saban and defensive coordinator Kirby Smart use him on the flanks.

The Mississippi native is an athletic second-level defender who is 6'3" and 225 pounds. He has outstanding quickness and range, which allows him to chase ball-carriers sideline to sideline across the box. Lewis can strike blockers with an adequate thump at the point of attack, plus he plays with solid instincts.

His size and athleticism make him a similar linebacker to Derrick Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs.

I can dig it.

Malik Jefferson is a remarkable athlete who happens to play linebacker. Yet, he also possesses excellent awareness and instincts.

The Texas native can do just about everything at 6'2" and 225 pounds. He can stand up on the edges to rush the quarterback with explosiveness and power, and he also has the strength to work inside as a run-stuffer.

He needs to improve his anticipation in coverage, but Jefferson has the athletic ability and speed to develop into an asset for a defense versus passing plays. The 5-star defender compares well to Akeem Ayers of the Tennessee Titans.

Six of the scheduled eight Elite 11 regional camps are in the books. Spring practice is getting started around the country and college coaches have been hitting the road, often times for their first in-person look at QB targets in the class of 2015. All those factors have gone into some shuffling of the quarterback rankings heading into the summer college camp season.

Pro-Style

The top of the pro-style list remains largely unchanged with all of the top prospects living up to their reputation over the course of the spring. One minor change among the top five is the move of Blake Barnett from the pro-style category to dual-threat. One college staff noted that Barnett is athletic enough to be a major college wide receiver prospect but he remains a quarterback all the way.

Dropping from the four-star ranks are Wisconsin native James Morgan and Minnesota native Ryan Schlichte. Both were early evals that still look like major college prospects but when compared to some of the other risers this spring, we just don’t see the same compliment of skills.

A pair of those risers that has impressed both 247Sports analysts as well as college coaches this spring consists of Boerne, Texas quarterback Quinten Dormady and Wynn, Ark., prospect Ross Trail. Dormady was initially featured in the Top247 for the class of 2015 prior to his junior season but dropped out after he missed the year due to injury. This spring he’s already added several offers including Vanderbilt and TCU and could be in line for more.

Trail is back in Arkansas after spending his junior season at Olive Branch High School in Mississippi. He and Dormady were two of the top performers at the recent Elite 11 regional in Dallas and like Dormady, Trail’s stock will quickly rise. He was an original Louisville commit but decommitted following coach Charlie Strong’s departure. He’s one of a handful of QB targets that Strong is evaluating at Texas.

Within the three-star ranks, Michigan State commit Brian Lewerke is another prospect that is heading in the right direction as an ascender in the rankings. He looks like a big-time steal for the Spartans out of Arizona.

Dual-threat

Similar to the pro-style ranks, the top of our dual-threat list has performed up to its ranking this spring and we like where things sit near the top.

The highest ranking player that we’ve made an adjustment on is four-star Kai Locksley out of Baltimore (Md.) Gillman. Locksley has been moved to athlete but his ranking remains the same. Oregon has offered Locksley as an athlete, we had a chance to see him in a camp setting and we feel like that’s where he’s best projected at this point. While we still think he can be a college quarterback, he’d be ranked lower strictly at that position. When you factor in his versatility to play a number of other positions, his value is significantly higher.

Other risers in the three-star ranks include Oklahoma State commit John Kolar and Joe Burrow out of Athens High School in Ohio. Kolar had a very strong performance in the recent Elite 11 regional and Burrow has been receiving very strong reviews from in-person evaluations this spring. Couple that with impressive film for both and we saw both as definite stock up types.

Another prospect that we think is a bit underappreciated nationally is Iowa commit Ryan Boyle. Though fellow Hawkeye QB commit Jack Beneventi was previously higher rated in the 247Sports Composite rankings, we’ve flip flopped the two at 247Sports and now have Broyle among the top 20 dual-threat quarterbacks nationally.

My boy Quinten Dormady jumped up to the #5 Pro-Style QB with a grade of 93. He's now the #172 ranked player in the country according to 247.

I don't know. Kiffin visited him this week and watched him throw. We haven't offered him as far as I can tell, but we probably asked him to come to camp. If he comes and performs well he could be in the mix.

Same thing with Dormady. He visited a couple months ago and was told to come to camp this summer and he might get an offer. He said back then that he was definitely coming back, but since that time he has added a few other offers. I think if Texas offers before he comes to our camp he will jump on it and be a no show.

Alabama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal, ranked as the No. 1 recruiter in America this cycle, will see four of the top offensive tackles in Florida today. He will check on Jalen Merrick, Martez Ivey, Abdul Bello and Christian Pellage. Ivy and Bello are early leans to Florida according to the Crystal Ball. Pellage favors Florida State. Merrick is under strong consideration to receive an offer from Alabama.
