It should definitely be interesting.

3 DB Minkah Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick is a true playmaker in the secondary. He showed off nearly every facet of his game. The five-star defensive back has elite speed and athleticism. Fitzpatrick broke well on balls thrown in front of him and was able to turn and run with any wide receiver. He was strong when competing for jump balls and timed his breaks and jumps very well.

OK, plenty of people I know thought Jameis Winston and Roc Thomas were going to Bama no matter what
quote:
However a friend of his that I coached a few years back went out of his way to tell me he believes Kerryon is "ring hunting" and his number one thing is simply winning championships.
Hence his top 3...
FSU just won the national championship and like James Wilder Jr showed, they are perfectly fine with wasting an elite athlete with a lot of potential and upside for D, on Offense as a RB
Auburn was the runner-up to the NC and didn't lose a whole lot.
Bama has a chance and is unsually a competitor, but that statement doesn't give Bama any advantage
quote:
He told me he really wanted to play RB, but that lately he has really opened up to playing S, and he said if he jumps on board with playing S he will be at Alabama.
That I can agree with...and if it is a possibility in his mind Bama has a shot in my opinion, but I've been duped before so I won't get my hopes up.

He should be fine. Mo Smith didn't practice yesterday either because of a concussion.

Saw that
I expect them to keep anyone with "concussion like symptoms" out though to be honest to much risk not too

247 really fricked up with this new product rollout. Nothing works.

Gotta love the idea of a Bama/Auburn community thread. If I wanted to see a Bama/AU flame fest I'd read the Al.com comments section. Could you imagine what a shite show it would have been if they'd had a Rashaan Evans announcement community thread?
Now it's more bs to wade through just to get the mods' opinions.

Speaking of my boy Rashaan, I think it's time for a new sig and avi pic. Anybody up for making me one?
Posted on 4/13/14 at 7:45 pm to TideSaint
I would, but I'm pretty terrible at it.
Maybe Mr.Tide will show up.

Between kerryon and his older sister and brother his family has about a dozen rings already for football and basketball. The "ring hunting" thing doesn't necessarily swing things our way but it makes sense that his top 3 has us, FSU, and Auburn in it.

I'm not sure where he would fit in at Bama. I like him at safety, but how many safeties do we plan on taking? We have Thompson in the fold and are in good position for Burgess-Becker. We lose Collins, Williams, and Perry this year. Would we take three safeties?

Yep need some also missed in some obviously last 2 cycles

Jamal Peters is out there too.

Kerryon's announcement is Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.
Prediction time: Where do you see him going?
I think Auburn.

Hope I am wrong, but unless he has decided on playing safety I think you are right.
Posted on 4/13/14 at 8:55 pm to chattabama
Auburn, and I'm fine with it because we're more than good at RB and he doesn't seem interested in playing Safety.

David Sills says that he is going to come back to Bama to camp and hopefully receive an offer. Interesting that Bama is not making an exception to the "camp for an offer" qb rule for Sills despite him being offered by Kiffin at USC.
