I'm actually surprised they would take him back. He had some success but there were several behind the scene issues with player mistreatment and not working well with the boosters.

Thread on AU board says Kevin Steele is out at AU, yet he wants to stay instate for state pension reasons. Could he be returning to Tuscaloosa?

There's no thread on the AU board with Steele's name in the title. Maybe it got deleted.

It was. I read it. They were arguing about whether Steele wanted out or not and who to replace him with.

Chad Morris, Major Applewhite and Pete Golding linked to UTSA job. Golding isn't likely to get the job because of lack of experience.

Hate it for UTSA and I don’t even know who they are.

A Twitter account titled Missouri Football said "Breaking: Jim McElwain announced as 33rd head coach in Mizzou football history.

Introductory press conference scheduled for later this week."

It was retweeted by Cecil.

That's how I picked it up, I follow Cecil.

I can’t find confirmation but Cecil doesn’t usually fall for stuff like that if someone was trolling.

Golding is out making some in home recruiting trips for Bama. If he's gone, it will be after the bowl game, I guess

It could easily be after ESD.

I'd like to see what his contract says. The University might save money if they wait until after the bowl game.
