The last of the five official selectors, the AFCA, just released their All-America team. Bama finished with two unanimous AAs (Q & Jonah) and three consensus (Jeudy, Tua, & Thompson)...

Happy to see Tua and Deionte both reach consensus status...

The NCAA recognizes the All-America teams selected by the Associated Press (AP), American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), Sporting News, Walter Camp Football Foundation (WCFF).

If three of these organizations select a player to their first team, he automatically receives the "consensus All-America" recognition. If a player is named an All-American by all five organizations, he receives "unanimous All-America" recognition.

He is a 1st team All American, just not the Consensus 1st team.

And, OU has the record of the most Unanimous All Americans with 35. They didn't have a unanimous this year, and Bama had two. So Bama is at 34 unanimous AAs and knocking on the door.
