Outside of one or two games our DB's have under performed. And I wonder out loud is it because we are not getting consistent pressure on the QB. We certainly didnt get pressure on the AM QB

I disagree. I think this team can win the whole effing thing.
This yrs team is right in the middle of the top 5 teams in the nation and that says a lot coming off a title team. What Bryce and these skills have done with this offense on a far less talented o-line foundation than last yrs is just simply remarkable. That's not considering its yr one under Bill's play calling.
They are one TE catch or one defensive stop against A&M from being undefeated.
Yet we are still in the mix and maybe can sneak into stealing a title in a yr we should not even be there.
I am not expecting them to beat a good UGA twice and a very good OSU in the same playoff yr.
But true-fully I would take a 4qrt convincing win at AU more than anything. As Saban says for some reason we just dont play well there and its becoming a mental hurdle for a Bama team.So I say blow out the barn and anything else is gravy.A blow out gives us a chance to play a Brooks, Sanders, leary in another big rivalry game so the SEC title game is not overwhelming.
If this team makes the playoff based on what we lost off of last year team.It would be a great yr especially considering the coaching staff turn over!.
Note" see special teams play this yr!.

We haven’t won in JHS voodoo palace since 2015. I know it’s only every other year, but consider their team status then Alabama’s status and let it sink in. I mean, dayum!

Couldn’t have said better myself. At least we are still in it. Could be worse. We could be Clemson or Oregon. Proves how hard it is to be at the top. All the injuries we have suffered this year, I’ll take where we are.

In Tight Game, Alabama Offense Bails Out Defense Against Arkansas (SI)
While just two weeks ago the Crimson Tide defense was forced to hold off a surging LSU Tigers team late in the game, it was the team's offense that provided the relief on Saturday against the Razorbacks.

It’s officially Iron Bowl week again as Alabama preps for a 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday game at Auburn. Nick Saban gets things started at noon CT Monday with his weekly news conference. Refresh the page for the latest.
-- And away we go ... Saban liked the way Alabama made explosive plays and controlled the tempo. But, he notes there are always a but, critical mistakes kept them from putting the game away. They’re addressing those issues.
- “As you well know, the Iron Bowl is one of the best rivalries in the country,” Saban said.
-- Auburn presents multiple looks on offense with a deep group of receivers. On defense, they create a lot of negative plays.
-- “We’ve been our own worst enemy,” Saban said in recent losses at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
-- “You actually feel it,” Saban said of the first time he coached in an Iron Bowl.
-- Asked about his favorite Iron Bowl rivalry, Saban said sitting at home with COVID-19 was a unique scenario. He went on to describe multiple times they lost games.
-- Experiences winning close games are always beneficial. “Certainly we’ve had our share of those this year,” Saban said
-- John Metchie and Jameson Williams have had “outstanding years.” Slade Bolden has stepped up and Ja’Corey Brooks is also getting a bigger role, Saban noted.
-- Josh Jobe practiced well all week but had “a couple tough plays in the game” before Kool-Aide McKinstry replaced him at cornerback in the second half.
-- Making further changes on the offensive line doesn’t seem like a good move, Saban said.
