For some weird reason, when it comes to the Iron Bowl, our guys usually seem to be REALLY nervous and tight for some reason and will make incredibly dumb penalties that they normally wouldn’t commit. And the Aubs often play so far over their heads that they have nose bleeds the rest of the year.
Then, you throw in the weird freakish luck that usually seems to go their way and the games are usually much closer than they should be.

Not usually in Tuscaloosa. They’ve haven’t won there in 13 years, just once since 2007. They usually lose by 3-5 touchdowns. If J-H is the voodoo palace for Alabama (now, both for AND against), BDS is an absolute abyss for AU. They’re likely looking at a 30-40 point loss, hopefully 8 in a row at BDS and 5 in row overall. But a one point win would be enough.
