The university is doing just fine with donors lately. We just had two schools named after donors giving significant money. I will have to politely disagree with you on the roles of our administrators coddling these people.

Dropping football wouldn't help them.

Yes, it is great that we have found a benefactor like Lee Styslinger Jr for the engineering school. Our business and law schools are great but we need a push like that to get our engineering school where it ought to be. Wish we could get a real medical school but you all know my position that UAB should not exist.
