Hard to string together hits when the ump is calling strikes on pitches damn near in the opposite batters box

Every at bat is Mizzou gets behind our hitter then just goes back to the far outside plate this ump is calling with some kind of rise ball because we have to swing defensively on those now.

They did but it made it hard for any of the hitters to operate. Luckily we have more bats who can put mistakes over the fence this year and that was the difference.
All three runs (2 for the good guys) were solo shots on mistake pitches basically.

Briski making it rough as she is all over the place but got out of the bottom of 5 with a ground out. Has as many pitches after 5 as she did friday night

2-1 JSU as Vic had a horrible 3rd inning. She is all over the place and walked two in the third and gave up a big double that I thought the CF should have caught but went down as a hit.
Either way our bats have not been sharp. Unless we get some runs this inning I would not be shocked if Vic is pulled after the third
