Worldwide leader doesn't need to point the mics at Mac anymore.

Bellichek just told the sideline reporter that they need to keep doing what they are doing to get better.

Eerily reminds me of Saban and this year's Bama team. Lost coordinator...no receiving threats...etc.

Also with the 1 yard runs on first down almost every series.

Belichick screwed the development of his young QB
Mac is fine

He’s so advanced as a 2nd year guy. This isn’t wrecking his development like it might for a guys like the 49er or Titans kids.

Mac is probably the best offensive mind in the damn building at the moment.

Just inexcusable staffing. Probably worse than bringing BOB back.
No doubt.

The situation Bill has put this team in is unfathomable. The idea that this was a better idea than going out, as the GOAT, and getting the best OC you possibly could is mind blowing.

And on top of that their receiving weapons suck arse. Nearly the worst in the league.

Matt Patricia is a fat, neck beard defensive guy who is totally unqualified to run an NFL offense. You can see Mac can’t believe he’s having to take plays from this dumbass.

Mac can’t catch a break. Can’t believe this is a Belichick-coached team.

These clowns can't even catch the ball when Mac hits them in the numbers.

I’ve counted at least 4 drops tonight when it hit them in their hands.

NE off season

1- hire an OC
2- trade or FA sign for a legit WR1 (should have gotten Calvin Ridley on the cheap for next season when they had the chance).
3- with the first round pick, draft the best OT available.

I think QBs making up to $40 million a year should have to call their own plays like in the old days.

No

Draft the best available WR too

But being serious for a second, fixing an OL to the point that it can work seems secondary to stacking elite offensive skill talent in today’s game.

This is what I don’t understand about NE and Bill. He has a built in advantage by being a GOD at producing good defensive performances week to week.

Why the hell would he not go all out when hiring offensive minds to coach that side of the ball and go out of his way to stack talent on that side?

Did he not see what happened when Moss came to town? Hell, Moss took Brady to a whole new level. Look around the league now. QBs with talent can do incredible things.

I think Bill is so egotistical he thinks it's him thats winning these games and not his players. He's going out of his way to prove it.

Projected FAs

According to this list of projected FAs, there aren’t any elite WRs but there are decent O-linemen.

Then maybe reverse it...go OL in FA. No FA busts like Trent Brown though. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

Then go WR in round 1... although they've been horrible at drafting WRs. Again, they should have been all over Ridley. I think Jacksonville got him for a conditional 4th round pick and change. That's going to prove to be an absolute steal.
