Thanks for posting these links. I actually listen to some of the interviews, which I would not do otherwise. I wouldn't even think about it.
I am very impressed with Coach Johnston. She's very direct and articulate. It seems she would be a very good recruiter. What has been the fruit of her recruiting efforts thus far? (I know nothing about what she has done or if there has even been time to yield any results.)

Dana had secured the #1 recruiting class last year and Coach Johnston kept it together (including the star of the class so far Gabby Gladieux). She signed the number 1 overall recruit for next year, Jamison Sears. So far so good!

No. 9 Alabama Gymnastics Hosts No. 8 LSU in Top-10 Matchup Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum
The No. 9 Alabama gymnastics team will host the No. 8 LSU Tigers Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum. The contest will begin at 7 p.m. CT and will be streamed on SEC Network+.
The Crimson Tide comes into Friday's meet 6-3 this season and 4-2 against conference opponents, while the Tigers are 3-5 overall and 3-3 in conference meets. Alabama and LSU are two of just six teams in the nation to have reached the 198 mark in a meet this season, with Alabama scoring a 198.000 at the Metroplex Challenge on Feb. 11 and the Tigers scoring a 198.100 at home against the Auburn Tigers this past Friday.
Friday's meet is Alumni Appreciation Night and also celebrates 50 years of Title IX. Crimson Tide alumni will be recognized pre-meet, celebrating the rich legacy of Alabama gymnastics. There will be giveaways of Title IX beanies, rally towels and scrunchies on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Head Coach Ashley Johnston said
"It's going to be a great matchup this Friday, and I'm really excited to get back in front of our home crowd. Our team has continued to build and we've progressed well. It's all about the details now and developing our depth. I'm excited to get back out there in Coleman and really perform."

Another very good score yet another meet where Bama left so much on the table. Bars were the downfall this week with vault coming in second. Still - should move up in the rankings with this one. Highlight was back to back 10s on the beam:

No. 9 Alabama Edged Out by No. 8 LSU, 197.975-197.925, Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum
Luisa Blanco and Lilly Hudson both scored perfect 10.0s on the balance beam in the contest
No. 9 Alabama was edged out by No. 8 LSU, 197.975-197.925, Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide earned the second-highest score in program history on balance beam and its highest since April 6, 2022, with a rotation total of 49.700.
Alabama's 49.700 on balance beam was capped by back-to-back scores of 10.0 on the balance beam, with Lilly Hudson and Luisa Blanco both earning a perfect score. Hudson's 10.0 was the first of her career, with Blanco's her third and second this season. It is the first time in program history that Alabama has recorded two scores of 10.0 on the same event in a single meet.
The Crimson Tide earned three event titles in the contest, with Blanco and Hudson tying for the beam title and Makarri Doggette earning the uneven bars title with a 9.950. Blanco has now earned 14 individual titles this season.
The Tide opened up the meet with a 49.325 to take an early lead over the Tigers, led by a season-best 9.925 from freshman Gabby Gladieux. The Tide earned another rotation total of 49.325 on the uneven bars, trailing the Tigers 98.850-98.650 at the halfway point. UA's 49.700 on the balance beam cut the Tiger lead to just .075 heading into the floor exercise, 148.425-148.350, and Alabama closed out its night with a 49.575 on floor exercise to finish just .05 behind the Tigers.
Head Coach Ashley Johnston said
"Meets like this are fantastic for us as we prepare for postseason. LSU is an incredible team. We have a really great team and have continued to build momentum and build on our scoring potential. It was exciting, especially in those last two rotations, to see the team rise up and fight and rally and just give it their best shot. That's what it's going to feel like during championship season, so I'm really proud of them for how they stepped up and just continued to fight the entire night."

Gymnastics shat the proverbial bed tonight at Mizzou. Will provide details in the morning but had two falls by seniors on floor exercise and had to count a 9.150.

That will screw the pooch most nights. One of the low scores of the year which wont help in the national standings.
