Some bright spots tonight
1) finally topped 197
2) Doggette got a 10 on bars

So tough to get the best score of the season and still lose to Kentucky by almost 1/2 a point. Needed some veterans to step up and it didn’t happen in crucial moments. I don’t understand changing the beam lineup after a fall and putting in a true freshman who hasn’t competed before. In the end, it didn’t matter but the meet was still in reach at that point. Even the graphics person screwed up tonight - not doing the running total between first and second rotations and misspelling names. We need to stop with the warm fuzzies and be a champion in everything we do - including graphics.

The Crimson Tide hit its season high all-around score of 197.325m only to see No. 10 Kentucky top it for the home win.

There are less than 100 tickets remaining for the @BamaGymnastics meet against Auburn this Friday. It will be the first sellout for Alabama gymnastics in Coleman since 2014

Alabama Gymnastics Hosts auburn Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum

The No. 11 Alabama gymnastics team will host the No. 6 Auburn Tigers Friday Night in Coleman Coliseum. The meet is Alabama's annual Power of Pink event, started 19 years ago by Sarah Patterson.

The Crimson Tide and the Tigers are both .500 so far this season, with Alabama 2-2 and Auburn 3-3. Both teams are coming off 197-or-higher team totals from this past week, with Alabama earning a season-best 197.375 on the road at Kentucky and Auburn posting a 197.175 at home against North Carolina State.

The meet is sold out, marking Alabama's first sellout since Jan. 24, 2014. The first 400 students in attendance will also receive Power of Pink hats.

The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network at 6:30 p.m. CT.

Any predictions on the scores. I think it will take a 197.5 or higher to win.

That sounds right to me. We outscored them last week (and they were at home). Would be nice not to have to count anything lower than a 9.80 this week (with lots of 9.9+ along the way).

Alabama's freshman just got a new nickname from me...Gabby "The Gladiator" Gladieux

She's going to be unstoppable!!

Great Team WIN. They battled tonight but some of our girls were robbed on some scores.

Luisa Blanco...nothing else needs to be said!!

Should Blanco have won the all around instead of Lee?

a high score of 197.875 as I said it would take more than a 197.50 to win. Great win and a great score
