Not to mention our depth at safety in 2015 is downright pitiful. I won't consider this class a success without at least one more safety commit. Especially if Chris Williams doesn't qualify. I don't think Ronnie Clark will play safety. He looked solid as a linebacker in the UAAA game.

Tim Watts ?@TimWatts_BOL 11s
Nick Saban getting a head start on 2015 class. Just left Pinson Valley RB Nick Gibson...5-star DL Daron Payne up next

I'll reserve judgement on our safety situation until A-Day. I'm curious to see what Ardarius Stewart will be playing. I know he wants to play offense, but hopefully Saban can make him understand that playing safety in our defense is better for his future than WR.
After next season we will have had 4 safetys taken in the first two rounds of the draft (Johnson, Barron, Haha, Landon). The only WR we've had taken that high was Julio and Ardarius ain't no Julio.

We got a CB prediction for Marlon yesterday.
First one (for any player) in a long time.

So according to some poster on BOL, Alvin Kamara is still on campus.
And we have another big recruiting weekend coming

You think Kamara might try some shady shite?

Absolutely. Our last big recruiting weekend we got zero commits and two decommits (thankfully one game back). The rumor is that our own guys were bad mouthing Bama and telling recruits that they should go elsewhere.
I dont understand why he is taking up a scholarship at this point. You don't want to be here than gtfo.

We offered Class of 2015 OLB Leo Lewis yesterday.
Mississippi State's 247 site had this to say about him late last month:
Comes from the same high school as Jimmy Johns. He has 4 CB predictions and the last 2 have been for Alabama. Split 50/50 with MSU.

LB Leo Lewis of Brookhaven HS - The hard-hitting linebacker from Brookhaven went from a relative unknown to a possible five-star prospect literally overnight. Judging from his video, it is easy to see why.
Lewis quickly picked up offers from MSU, Ole Miss, Oregon State and LSU, and many more will be on the way for Lewis. The humble and well-respected Lewis also plans to take some time before making his decision but yet another top prospect that MSU is very much in the mix with for 2015.

So this will be our 2015 MS kid that we all think is Bama bound only to shun us at the last minute? Cool. Was wondering who'd play that role this upcoming year.

We tend to do alright when going head to head with State. It's Ole Miss that gives us a run for our money. Literally.
Having said that, this kid is a beast. I've been reading some of the chatter from State boards about him and their mods feel he will be a 5-star when it's all said and done.
Damn I love recruiting. Just when you think you get a break with a class winding down, the next year's crop jumps right up into your face.

In that case we need to send Pettway to have a "word" with Kamara if he is indeed bad mouthing the team/school.

Rashaan Evans father Alan spoke to AL.com last week about Smart's relationship with the Evans family:
"Coach Smart has been recruiting Rashaan really since he was in middle school," Alan said. "It's a relationship that goes back a long ways and it's one of the big reasons why Alabama has been one of Rashaan's top schools all along." Stay tuned.

This is a big accusation to be making against one of our own. I hope your "source" is someone who has at least 3,000 BOL posts.

Elisha Shaw is taking an OV to Bama next weekend. He may not ever play again, but if he can he would be a steal at this point.
