You know the place to which I refer.

As for Harris, he's a good prospect, but he would not have won that had Cornwell shown up.

Ermon Lane is up to 6'3 193 pounds?

Not really

And if I do, we aren't taking any new members. So no real reason to be so hush hush on HZT.

That remains to be seen, all will be settled at the QB camp.

We went to Sey's last night. I waxed nostalgic about our "special night" together.

Still think we need to utilize a fullback.

Then again, we have won 3 national titles since then.

Yes. We land a top QB this year. AJ has reversed the perception that a QB can not put up elite numbers at Alabama.

Granted, I've only analyzed guys that seem to have legit interest in us so my QB rankings are based on that. I haven't looked at the kid in California yet due to this, though I intend to.

My top 3 for us would be:

1. David Cornwell
2. Tyler Harris
3. Jacob Park

Disclaimer: EJ Moss could play QB for us a la Blake Bell out at Oklahoma, if we land him.

Hell no. The jumbo package died with Shula's tenure.

I would, however, love to have a punishing lead blocker clearing holes as opposed to 220 pound H-backs.

Just like that old school, I-formation.

do you expect to see Fowler at HB if he is healthy?

Moss needs to play more LB, instead of just every game or 2. They say he's dominant there and it where Saban wants him. I asked his uncle about his defensive stats, and he never told me. I've heard Auburn has talked to him about Safety as well. And I don't want to see him at H-Back, I'm tired of any athlete being projected to that position. It's not even used that much to start moving quality talent there.

Moss would come off as an ultimate settling if he's taken as "the guy" at QB. I could see someone like Mike O'Conner or even Foster Sawyer getting a spot over him as a true QB.

I think Fowler takes the role Yeldon filled last season. I think he is too good with the ball in his hands to be primarily used as a blocker. He could be a legit 10-12 carry a game player for us.

I know one thing, nobody wants to tackle him head on. He will crush them.

I'm really excited to see what he can do with an expanded role. We all assume one of the 4 freshman will seize the 2nd tailback spot, but they have yet to excel in pass protection like Fowler.

He hits 1,000 yard rushing next year. Book it.

Don't sleep on Moss at QB. As a freshman he displayed very good mechanics when he was actually asked to pass. He plays for a very poor school without much coaching. I've tried to find more film on him for the past two years to no avail.

He may not be elite, but he has the skillset to be very good given time.

The problem for Dee Hart is that we keep adding elite talent at the RB spot and they are healthy.

He was always going to be a liability in pass protection due to his size, so his production was always going to be limited.

Now you add Drake and Kamara to the mix and his opportunities are lessened.

I will admit that if he had remained healthy he could have been a very nice change of pace for us.

I just don't see him making an impact unless we suffer multiple injuries.

He was never gonna be an Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, or Yeldon because of his size.

I hate it for him because he had the potential to be special.

But special at 7 touches a game is different than special at 20 times a game. He's just too small.

He's an above average athlete with a decent HS arm playing QB, he gives more value at the next level at another position than he does under center. He racked up 16 tackles and 3 sacks in one of his 1st games playing linebacker part time on defense.

He would be eaten alive in a system that doesn't protect him as a passer, i.e. spread option. He talks with Bobby Williams more than he does Nussmeier, which leads to believe it's gonna be TE. That is if Bama even wants him...

According to watcham (his uncle), we want him. He could be beast Lber. I agree that he would be wasted at Hback. But I'm not ready to discredit his QB chances just yet. Again, there is zero film out there from his sophomore and junior seasons.

If I could get my hands on that, I may be inclined to agree with you.

Dee Hart should focus on being primarily a KR/PR specialist. He's probably buried in the depth chart at this point, especially with the new additions. That's where the majority of his PT will come from the rest of his career.

He has the potential to bring an Arenas-like impact on special teams if he can stay healthy IMO.
