Um...

@jeffborzello

quote:

Brian Bowen said other schools not on final list have reached out to see if they can get involved. Oregon, Missouri, Ohio State among them.

Oh ok it said among them, I guess that means there's more

I really hope we get the Donta Hall that showed up against Oregon more consistently this year. He has got major potential

I may be the only one not excited about getting Bowen lol. Rather have a big or pg but whatever.

Why wouldn't you be? It's a top 15 recruit...

Looks like it's not true anyhow.

That would be similar to saying you'd rather have Marcin Gortat or Baron Davis over Michael Jordan

Those guys are solid all stars and may fit your needs better, but you still take Jordan over them every day. His marginal value is way better than getting a solid PG/Big to add

College basketball is all about talent.

You always choose a top 15 player over someone that averaged 4 and 4 at Winthrop.

Yeah, we don't even have a need for a PG right now. I'd rather have an elite talent any day of the week as opposed to a mid major transfer who will be fighting for minutes.

I saw Bowen play this past fall in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a 6-8ish athletic freak. He & Sexton would provide highlight plays every game. If there is any chance of getting him? we should go all in for him.

That said, University of Arizona fans here in Phoenix think he is going there.

I really do think Borzello must have misspoke on TV. I haven't seen or heard anything else about us going after Bowen.

He's listed as a 6'5" PG, so he's probably pretty versatile. I figure since he is from the Lowlands of Europe like Retin we might have a chance.
