Maybe we aren't going after any transfers bc there's a possibility at Bamba

I know you're joking, but my heart can't take this Bamba myth anymore. We aren't even listed on the guys 247 page. Sexton throwing him some lobs doesn't mean anything. He's not coming here.

Missouri might end up with a better class than us. Looks like MPW is getting several guys to come with him.

Yeah I know we're not listed on his page, but he's supposed to possibly take one more visit and Sexton is trying to make him use it on Bama. I would give anything to land him, but I know that's highly unlikely

Yeah isn't Knox supposed to visit Mizzou? Even Bamba mentioned Mizzou as possibly being his last visit. I can't believe they've went from such a terrible basketball program to having this kind of momentum that quick

Bamba also mentioned us as potentially being his last visit.

EDIT: And in no way do I think we land him. I'm just saying that doesn't mean much.

Don't know if he got to Coleman yet but that should be very soon. Hoping he'll make an announcement of a new plan for an arena or either some serious upgrades/changes to Coleman

What I hope happens after he tours Coleman:

We are going after transfers. A post and a wing.

Don't know what type of wing he want if he not trying Johnson.

Did you see Johnson's offer list? Even UK has offered... He probably just feels like his time and effort could be better placed toward a guy we can actually get.

Do you now if Avery wants just grad transfers, or is he willing to get guys who aren't eligible immediately?

This is my thought. It's pretty unlikely a guy from Pennsylvania would choose to transfer to UA without much time to build a relationship.

I'd love to get Woodard. It seems like him, Fleming, and Wood are the three guys we are recruiting hard for 2018. Obviously we are going to everything in our power to get Watford in '19 too.

You may be right, it would just be really hard to pass on Bamba.

Keep in mind Lawson was basically a 5* on ESPN (#25) and KJ was ESPN #44, both have proven success at a high level.

If you were recruiting them + Bamba, I'd bet whoever accepted a spot first bamba or bros would get it and you'd be happy though

The Lawsons would be here longer, so I'd rather have them anyways long term. I don't think we get either though. I'm expecting just some average grad transfers, but hopefully Avery surprises me.

If we are going for grad transfers, I have a feeling Alabama and Auburn will be butting heads because we have similar needs in a big and a wing.

I'd rather have the Lawson brothers than Bamba if it were actually a choice.

Bamba would be great for a year and then jump to the NBA.

The Lawson brothers could have an impact within the program for the next 5 years or so if it gave us an in with the people close to them.
