Is he a better shooter than Collin?? I cant imagine him being able to get to the rim as good as Collin could.

Of the film I've seen on Kira, he may be a better and more consistent set shooter from deep, but I don't think he'll be able to create the separation on his shots near as well as Sexton did, nor will he take as difficult of shots from deep. Sexton gets a bad rap for his shooting because of his, percentage, but people don't realize how much higher the degree of difficulty of his shots were compared to other players. I'd question the legitimacy of any NBA scout that had Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as a better shooter than Collin Sexton.

Speaking of which, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander seems like a good ceiling comparison to me, at least in terms of style of play. I think he'll be a guy that does a lot of things that contributes to us winning, but won't be able to take over games like Sexton could.

Battle screwed up and locked Bama into a long term deal with Nike that's way below what we should be getting -- we're losing way more than enough to pay for a new BB arena. Someone needs to pass the above idea along to Byrne. Iirc, Byrne recently said something like "We can't just write a check for a new arena." Well here's way to pay for it. It's a win-win deal for Bama and Nike.

Part of me wondered if it was a beef with Pettway being the exclusive recruiter for some prospects, but thinking about it further I'd guess he's probably just talking about something that happened at UGA like having to recruit against Pettway.

Trendon and CJ Walker were hanging out together on Trendon’s Instagram story. That’s our 2 biggest remaining targets in the class of 2019. We have a good chance with both of them

I’m not sure exactly how many. It’ll depend on who all leaves for the NBA and how many transfers we have. Herbert and Petty are both projected to be drafted and I could see Mack getting a shot as well.

But I know for a fact we’re recruiting Walker hard and I’m assuming we’re still recruiting Watford.

I think so too. Imagine having Forbes, Gary, Walker, and Trendon in the 2019 class along with Kira in the 2018 class. That’s an incredible job recruiting if it happens, and it very well could
