Nice. Getting Kira would be huge and Would be great to have him by time SEC play starts. Especially if the Butler rumors are true.

Someone brought something very interesting to my attention......Petty, Herbert, and Watford were all on a plane flying somewhere together on instagram....

Can confirm. Petty and Herb are transferring to Memphis and will be eligible immediately along with LeBron’s son and Kevin Durant.

Some of y'all may be interested to know that Jerry Meyer is not in charge of 247's rankings any more. I'm assuming it's Evan Daniels now. Makes a little more sense to me, as I haven't been as agreeable with their rankings recently as I have been in the past.

Kira Lewis update from BOL:
-Visit went good. He hung out with our players and coaches on the visit.
-Herbert and Galin hosted him and showed him around. They told Kira a little about what they do out side of basketball and told him more about the campus.
-Kira said he took this visit early so he could go ahead and get some stuff out of the way just in case he goes 2018 class.
-Spent a lot of time one on one with Avery.
-Bama has made him their top priority according to Kira. He’s in constant communication with the staff.
-He said he has no leader
-No more official visits are set (Bama is the only one he’s taken)
-If he picks Bama, he said it would be bc of the atmosphere, having chemistry with some of the guys on our team he already knows, playing for Avery, and it’s a great academic school.
Hank South also said Kira will know in the coming days whether he can reclassify or not, and he’ll make his college decision this month if he can reclassify.

Alabama Basketball’s John Petty and Herbert Jones Invited to Attend 2018 Nike Skills Academy
Trendon Watford also was selected as one of the high school players to attend. He travelled with Herbert and Petty to the event.
