Jay Williams was giving a lot of props for Sexton.

Sexton was obviously focused on showing off his passing last night. So many times he could have scored easily but decided to set up for other teammates.

Glad Sexton is as good of a distributor as he is a scorer. Hopefully that'll open up some more scoring opportunities underneath.

Watch Anthony grant take Dayton to the tournament yearly.

Um guys...Cecil said this when asked if we would add anyone this year. If Cecil is openly saying this about Bamba, he must feel like there's a chance

Yes. Probably a grad transfer if one fits team needs. Although no one would slam the door on Mo Bamba. :-)

When asked if we have a legit chance at Bamba, he said this:

quote:

Not really. Sexton was talking about recruiting him at McDonald's.

Still doesn't mean we can't land him. I don't think we will tho.

I've never seen Bamba hit a 3 on Twitter. DO NOT WANT

Just kidding, if we managed to get this kid, I'd never wear pants during Bama basketball games next year.

Collin Sexton's next all-star appearance will be the Nike Hoops Summit (ESPN2 at 9 p.m. EDT on Friday, April 7 from Portland, Ore.)

Well, good luck to him. If his offense is anywhere as stagnant as it was here, Flyer fans will show up with pitch forks and torches.
Do you all forget how good he did at VCU? He is just a guy that is a mid major coach. He is can get the guys there to do well.

Look where he came from. Who doesn't win at VCU? I can think of half a dozen coaches that started there and most don't work out when they jump to a bigger school. That's not a knock, just a factual observation. VCU is just a very good basketball mid major.

Yep. Shaka Smart lost 20+ games this year at Texas. Grant didn't work out at Bama. Wade probably won't do too great at LSU either.

Damn, from the #30 basketball program of all time to a team that's just ahead of Auburn. Talk about a fall from grace.

I honestly didn't know anything about VCU, other than the name, before Anthony Grant. That's just me though
