Would he walk-on? cause we don't have any scholarships available, and I don't see anybody on the roster worth running off to make room for.

Even if Avery jr walks on, that still puts us at 13, no?

Or better yet, Bama can just give Avery a "retention bonus" equal to Avery Jr's cost of attendance. Boomshockalaka, Alabama has an extra 'scholarship' player

Can't imagine you won't find one more scholarship to get to 13 from Norris, Giddens and Key

I’m 99% sure someone is gonna transfer. So that’ll take care of the extra scholarship. Then if Dmitry wants to come here, AJ will become a walk-on

I just realized I posted the wrong link yesterday. Here’s the free interview with Dimitry LINK

But basically he just talked about himself. Was hard to understand some stuff he said. He kept having to get help off camera from someone bc he didn’t know the right English words to say. Talked about his favorite NBA players, when he started playing basketball. Didn’t say anything about his recruitment. Mostly was just an interview to let people know who he is

This hoopseen article is about the tournament where we watched the guys who we've been visiting recently LINK

The whole article is worth a read, but here's some quotes

quote:

2021 Birmingham (AL) Ramsay forward Keshawn Murphy (pictured above) blew all the expectations I had of him out of the water. The long, wiry 6-foot-7 forward is a unique prospect with his combination of size, length, and skill, and he has an unlimited amount of potential. Despite his size, the freshman plays like a guard and could ultimately be classified as a potential point-forward.

quote:

2019 Carver-Montgomery (AL) wingJaykwon Walton continued his recent play dating back to the high school season. The junior was the best player in the event and is trending as a national name headed into the evaluation periods later this month.

quote:

HELLO, MY NAME IS …

Dmitry Rivny, a Russian import from Birmingham’s Central Park Christian, was the talk of the tournament to begin the weekend. He impressed spectators with his mixture of big dunks and shooting ability from 3.

The 6-foot-8 forward is bouncy and athletic, but he also has a nice touch and the ability to shoot the ball from deep. He can play both forward spots and should be recruited by a lot of mid-major and high-major programs.

Aaron Suttles tweeted “Pray for Chris Stewart”.

Anyone know what’s going on?

All that's confirmed is a serious medical procedure- which was successful. Someone on Suttle's twitter said it was am emergency brain surgery to remove clot, but that hasn't been confirmed.

Quick update: @CStewartSports: Chris had a really good day today. He’s continuing to improve & in good spirits. I spent some time with him earlier & happy to report that as usual he barely let me get a word in. Grateful for how well he’s doing & praying for continued progress!
