I don't see Ingram leaving unless there is an unknown reason in there. Just theoretically I could see Key leaving.

Giddens hasn't graduated has he? If not, he isn't going to go somewhere else and sit again. He may leave after next year if he finishes school as a grad transfer, but not before.

Giddens could go D2 and play immediately I think. Not sure.

But I think Key is gone

He could, but he won't unless he just has no interest in becoming a pro.

Yea, but he's not gonna do that. He's a Division 1 basketball player.

Giddens would tower over everyone in D2

I'd take Key and Riley over Moyer.

Yeah, I'm not sure why we're that into him. Doesn't really fit a need. I guess maybe the staff saw him play in HS and was very impressed?

He fits our mold of long atheletic guys I guess. His jump shot is ugly though, and I always thought he was a mediocre jumper for his height. I didn't watch him at Syracuse though. His stats are mediocre, but I bet he's a good defender.

Yea, I doubt he is thinking that far ahead. He got passed up in the rotation by a freshman. I actually think going down a division would help him more than sitting the bench.

If we were talking about going down to a C-USA team or something I could see this, but not D2. Giddens would gain nothing from playing against D2 bigs. His competition in high school was better in a lot of games than D2 competition.

Maybe this was more so because of his length, but still looks pretty athletic here:

The tweets I've seen range anywhere from solid defender to "he looks like a D-3 player".

understand the skepticism, but in the same breath most of these way too early predictions have UF as a top 25 team after they're losing they're first team All-SEC PG, Second leading scorer and potentially they're leading scorer. They're getting ranked based off of name alone.
I don't disagree with this and don't think we should start off ranked. I'm concerned about our PG situation and think Allen will need to play more PG than expected. But the core of Stone/Allen/Hayes should still be good enough to make the tournament and we have some talented young players to fill in the gaps.

Maybe I'm just entirely wrong and remembering a different player. I remember watching a guy's high school highlights and wondering how a player so tall and lean had to go full stretch to dunk. I thought it was Moyer.

Apparently Collin is announcing his decision Friday in a presser which likely means he's gone. I would love to see him announce that he's staying if for no other reason than to see DeArmond exposed.

I didn't know you had posting rights here.

We need to get Pio in here. One good poster from each team for the offseason.

I understand what you are saying, but even playing games against D2 players is much better than sitting the bench or playing 4 minutes a game.

Giddens isn't that bad. He's actually solid defensively and offensively, he just needs work on the boards and learn how to defend without fouling. He definitely could find a mid-major where he can start pretty easily.
