Yes. Here's why:

Avery visited yesterday and then today he announced he would decide Friday. That's usually good news.

We have 100% in the crystal ball picks including 3 today from Brian Flynn, Andrew Slater, and Hank South

BOL forecasted Fleming to Bama. Tim Watts says he should be decided at a pep rally that starts at 3:30. So I'd imagine somewhere between then and 4 PM CT.

Is Fleming expected to jump up the rankings a bit since he lost the weight?

He already has. Wasn't even ranked a year ago and now he's 207 on the 247 composite. I would expect a move into the top 150 if he keeps playing at the same level he has been. Don't worry about the rankings though. This guy is the most offensively polished big man we've recruited in a while. His footwork is impeccable. Reminds me a bit of a former Mississippi HS basketball player, Gavin Ware.

I was a little worried when Slater made the Georgetown pick out of the blue, but since he changed it to Alabama, we should be in the clear.

If you haven't seen him play, this video highlights his skill the best. An offensive weapon that is a beast in the post, can shoot the midrange, and has great vision and passing for a big man. Defense is his only knock as he's not particularly athletic. Not sure exactly how bad he is on that end as I haven't seen a full game of his.

Once he gets in a college conditioning program, Fleming could be a dominant player.

According to Tim Watts. We have a legit shot at James Wiseman. He is said to have the closest relationship to Avery Johnson.

Be still my heart...

Seriously though if we have a good year this season, I think we could really pull an incredible 2019 class. Just Kira and Watford would be great, but if we somehow got Wiseman, wow.

Walton is another instate 2019 guy who is talented. I expect us to offer him at some point.

With Petty looking like he might be one and done, I wonder if we'll go after a fourth recruit.

Right now seems like Woodard is the only guy left we are really after.

Glad we got Fleming...he is going to be a nightmare for other bugs when he gets the chance.

That's surprising. I haven't heard much about where he's leaning.

Fleming will join former Clinton star Galin Smith and has plans to do some recruiting of his own now that he is committed. Columbus forward and 247Sports' No. 1 prospect in the state Robert Woodard has Alabama in his top three along with Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Fleming said he plans on bringing Woodard with him to Tuscaloosa.

Sorry for not keeping up, but we're in pretty good position for him too right?

We could take 4 this year with him and Woodard. Another solid class.

We are in very good position with Watford, but he's in the 2019 class. The 2018 class would pretty much be done after Woodard. If we have Petty or Hall leave for the draft or an unexpected departure, I imagine we'd look towards the graduate transfer market as Avery is setting up for a dominant class in 2019.
