I don't mind starting one but I'm not sure how much time I'll have to update it throughout the season. Hope someone else's makes one, but if not, I might do it. Still got a few weeks to decide

I'd bet money that the NCAA gives schools an out by admitting fault + accepting repayment + "generous" suspension/punishment terms. Allow teams to proactively save themselves and save face
FBI is mid investigation so no way they provide details/witnesses to NCAA until it (I.e trails/investigation) is concluded maybe years from now.
What other choice do they have? They risk this FBI probe destroying CBB if they don't give schools an out

Alabama's pro day is tomorrow. I wish they would show it on TV like they did Kentucky's but I don't think they are. Hopefully we get some reports and videos from it though

Well, you can throw that one out. Unless I missed something, no indictments have been made by a grand jury. The arrests have been made via FBI complaint.

That's putting it lightly. We went extremely hard after this kid for a very long time, and while I think he's very underrated, he's sitting at 240th on the composite. For a team like Georgetown, to come in and win him over last second would be a huge hit to Avery's recruiting pride.
Slater is pretty good with his picks, but this pick came out of left field. When I saw him take Mississippi State off the list, I thought he was all ours...

Any news from practice? How is my darkhorse candidate for best newcomer, Herb Jones, doing? Who will be the best 3 pt shooter, among the main rotation guys? Who will be the freak dunker? Can the big guys score?

Just from my observations during the Canadian tour:
-People are still high on Herb despite him not being able to show much due to injury in the Canadian tour
-Best 3 point shooter is probably Petty
-Best dunker is probably Giddens with Hall closely behind
-Seems like the big guys can score more than we usually can

Riley will have the best percentage from 3.
Petty will hit the most 3's.
Hall will have the most dunks.
Sexton will have the most impressive dunks.
Dazon will take more 3 point attempts than last year.
Key leads us in rebounding and will be top 3 in scoring.
Sexton averages between 15-18 to lead us with Petty and Key averaging in the double digits too.
I'll give a report from Tide Pride practice viewing period next Tuesday night.

UT-Arlington will be a tough out early season. I think I'll feel better about the team by the time we play La Tech and Mercer.

Yeah they were really good last year, and Kevin Hervey can really play. I think they lost a couple senior starters though.
