Because he knows some kids don't believe in hype and want to go to a proven school. We are really lucky to have what we have and any of the big man mentioned in the thread would be huge pulls IMO.

Most guys who think they can get to the NBA in a one and done, like to go big school. Those that think it might take 2 or 3 years probably look at the fit of the school more, cant blame the top guys for wanting more exposure.

Some guys do care for more exposure and I understand that, but Ferguson is MUCH more of a one and done prospect than Bolden is.

After watching a few minutes of tape (i'm not a professional scout, i'm just a guy that played ball and thinks he's knows what to look for ) I kind of like the upside that the Fernando kid has. He's a big kid with a big frame and is very athletic. Above average hands and feet and is a rim protector on the defensive side. He looks pretty raw offensively outside of being able to dunk, but that is more common than not regarding big men imo. I would still take Bolden or Huell over him for sure, but I think he would be great backup plan.

He only has one CB prediction right now and it's for UCF. I'm not sure if we are actively recruiting him, but if we are, I think we would have a shot to land him if they are the favorites for him.

Also, I wonder if Avery could get his buddy David Robinson to come around and work with our big men from time to time. That would be huge for development and it could help us in recruiting as well, assuming that's legal to do.

David Robinson

or Robert Horry

or Antonio McDyess

Any of the three would make me so happy. I know CAJ has brought around some hoop alumni already. That is one thing I'd love to see more of out of Alabama basketball.

Until someone on campus actually sees him, I won't believe he's coming

Thank you God for Terrance Ferguson and his amazingly awesome personality

I know Mo Williams and Avery have done a great job of recruiting, but having a prominent recruit like Ferguson going out and attracting other recruits is awesome

That should be a good one to test our defense. I wish we'd play teams like Belmont because they'd do wonders for our RPI.

Not sure what this comment is in relation to, but Mo Williams is about to play on probably the most talked about team in the NBA again this season.

Him and Avery seem to have a pretty good relationship already.
