Our guys are gonna put the full court press on Bolden. Avery Johnson is already doing what Grant never really did. Making me (us?) believe.

SUPER long shot to get Bolden imo though. We really need to figure out a way to get him on campus next Tuesday.
Current CB is
Duke 82%
Kansas 12%
Kentucky 6%
Bryant, who else do you think we are looking at besides Bolden and maybe Fernando?

Both hoopseen and BOL have mentioned Dewan Huell's name before but I haven't seen us mentioned anywhere as visiting his school or a home visit but who knows?

Can we send Cristobal down there to talk to him?

I thought Bolden was visiting Saturday?

Think he wants a Mercedes?

That's what we've all been hoping since Ferguson changed his visit to this weekend, but the only reports I've seen are that he may visit OU this weekend. Hopefully we convince him to come soon if not this weekend.

I've heard that Bolden will visit either this weekend or LSU weekend. Things can change though.

Is there video of the commitment?

I don't think there is a video, it was just a Twitter announcement.

At 6-foot-7 and over 200 pounds, Key is an interesting prospect to evaluate. He can play power forward, some on the wing, and is even a kid who you want to play through as a point forward at times. That basically means that Key isn’t someone who fits into the traditional role of a small forward or power forward.
quote:
Because of that being able to defend on the perimeter at the forward position is huge, and Alabama now has Nick King, a transfer from Memphis, and Key. Both will be eligible for the 2016-17 season, and it gives the Crimson Tide an interesting combination at the forward spots.
If you add in five-star 2016 small forward Terrance Ferguson, and now the Crimson Tide have the ability to mix and match on the wing and not only be able to match up with opposing teams, but also create incredible mismatches on their own with the unique skill set of the three.
In Key you have a point forward who isn’t a great athlete but makes plays with the ball, is a capable shooter, and can rebound for his size. King is an excellent athlete with long arms who isn’t super skilled, but can guard bigger players and also is a very good rebounder when properly motivated. Then there is Ferguson who can be an elite defender and elite shooter, but struggles to handle the ball.
When looking at those three, all around 6-foot-7 and all bring something different. Because of that Alabama should be able to isolate a mismatch. Do you put a bigger player on King and allow Key to be able to overpower his defender, and at the same time give Ferguson the ability to shoot over a traditional shooting guard? Or do you put the bigger player on Key and give him the ability to drive past him and at the same time create second chance opportunities for King assuming a smaller wing is on him?

I really wanna see what our offense looks like when we get all these guys on the team. CAJ said he wanted to score quickly.

shite...
Would have loved to have him on campus this weekend. Hope we can get a solid big to finish this class off. Regardless, what a fantastic first (real) class...

Hull would be just as huge but I think the kid bryant mentioned the other day is more realistic and looks like a good player imo

I wonder why Meyer is so adamant about us having no shot at Bolden. He's my favorite recruiting guy and he usually has a very reliable opinion when it comes to knowing a recruit's main competitors. He's started the AJ recruiting hype train, but doesn't think we have a chance with Bolden when it seems like almost everything is going our way with his canceled visits to other schools and whatnot. It's almost like he knows something that he's not telling us.
