According to Hank South on BOL, we offered:

On Sunday, Alabama offered Schnider Herard, a 2016 four-star center from Plano, Texas (Prestonwood Christian).

Marques Bolden, a 2016 five-star center from DeSoto (Texas) High School

Jalen Johnson, a 2016 three-star small forward from High Point, N.C. (Wesleyan Christian).

P.J. Washington, a 2017 five-star power forward from Dallas, Texas.

Connor Vanover, a 2018 7-foot-2 center from Little Rock, Ark.

Yea, that figures. Many kids taller than 6'8" at that age lack a lot of coordination. He says he's 7'3" now, so hopefully he'll actually stop growing so his coordination can catch up. He's supposedly a great shooter with range to the 3 which is damn impressive at that height and that age. I imagine if he doesn't have any injury issues he'll end up at some powerhouse though.

Avery Johnson is setting his sites on who he wants to help him rebuild the Alabama basketball program and 7-foot center Ikechukwu Obiagu is his latest offer.

Obiagu, who led the Georgia Stars to a 16U Peach Jam championship, tweeted that Alabama offered along with Vanderbilt and Florida since the event. Purdue had offered just prior to it. Obiagu also has offers from a number of other schools.

An intimidating presence on the court, Obiagu is raw offensively, but he is perhaps the top shot blocker in the 2017 class.

Currently he is ranked No. 19 in the 247Sports Composite.

From Jerry Meyer

I also saw on twitter that we offered 2016 PG Cassius Winston. His crystal ball is 100% Michigan State.

Austin Nichols can officially transfer to any school. That pretty much sinks our chances, I'd think.

Why the hell would they let him do that?

They hired a lawyer and Memphis caved... I'm guessing it pretty much means he's going to one of the previously denied schools.

Wonder what does this mean for future transfers. No way I wouldn't let him go to Tenn though just me.

Trendon Watford Class of 2019

Very far out.. but Trendon Watford (Christian Watford's brother) just transferred from Shades Valley to Mountain Brook. Averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds as an 8th grader playing 6A varsity . Hoping CAJ can get us to a high enough level by the time this kid is a senior to attract him to play for UA. Already has an offer from us, Ms St and Florida.
